I'm fairly sure that either they aren't double-taxed or that if they are, there's a good reason for it. I can't actually recall the details at the moment, so if you could expound on the 'double-taxation' thing a little more, I'd appreciate it.

The profit of the business is taxed and then the income of the people that receive what's left is also taxed.

However, neither corporation tax nor capital gains tax are equivalent to income tax, so it's not an apples to apples comparison anyway. It's not exactly double, though I suspect it's a greater percentage than some people' income tax.

(just looked it up, and it's way too complex and has too many variables for me to be up to estimating it)
