There are no hard-and-fast definitions that I'm aware of for who fits into what "class", but (as has been said) that doesn't make the terms meaningless. The line between "middle class and upper class is particularly blurry — people like the dentists and engineers that Balloon Fleet mentions, who are definitely financially secure and tend to have nice things, but aren't living in mansions or driving Corvettes, tend to be lumped in "upper middle class", which is even more nebulous.

It's generally a you-know-it-when-you-see-it sort of thing.

Unreasonable? They had a front cover saying "hooray for the blackshirts", I think if anything is worthy or "reasonable" dislike its the daily mail.

And if so, link to them 'cause I have heard bugger all about this.
