I don't really see the need for a split, personally.
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things.Don't care either way, just put them on the Videogame Namespace. See How To Split A Page for a how to.
Fight smart, not fair.Support split. The second game ended up getting a different artstyle, different setting, unrelated plot, and some sort of Cowboy Ninja as its protagonist.
The fact the descriptions already in two parts for each game makes it easy.

Works Pages Are A Free Launch. This applies to splits between sequels as well—if the sequel has enough of its own tropes, splitting it into its own separate page is free. So, yeah, go ahead.

The two games basically have nothing to do with each other beyond a control scheme. I would say that Red Steel 2 warrants its own page.
