^ ...You sound bitter about something else that has nothing to do with me.
I've made a grand total of three comments (four now) in this discussion and I am not the solitary person waving a banner of support for this trope. I find the page to be an interesting read and I feel the trope itself is just as valid as all the "Crowning Moment of X" and "They Changed X, Now It's Y" tropes. If I was the only person rooting for the trope I would respect that I was the minority and not get in the way of a rename, merge or cut (I actually would be okay with a rename, it isn't very intuitive).
In short, I'm expressing my opinion in a forum and I do not deserve to be told "Your opinion is different than mine so you should take it somewhere else."
I'm with Fighteer, I hate bashing tropes. Around the vicinity of how much I hate shipping tropes.
Fight smart, not fair.So are we gonna rename this or what? So far we've had nothing but a threadjack.
Given that this trope is inherently bashing meets gushing (neither of which we're even supposed to do), I'd say just turn this into a redirect to A Day in the Limelight in order to preserve inbounds, and adding a small sentence on that page regarding the effects it can have on disliked characters.

Infinite Tree: an experimental storyI concur.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Sounds like a good idea.
It does not matter who I am. What matters is, who will you become? - motto of Omsk BirdWe never actually got a crowner going, did we? Hang on one.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Let's merge already hmm? Takes FOREVER to do anything around here.
Which is as it should be lest we get too trigger-happy with page actions. Calling the crowner. Do the merge.

Crown Description:
Good Troi Episode is indistinct from A Day In The Limelight except for containing a subjective element of "but this time it's good". It relies on a subjective interpretation of the character in question as The Scrappy. It also suffers from the problem of being named after a character and being grammatically unclear: does "Good" in the title refer to the character or the episode? What, if anything, should we do about it? Note, if you don't like any of the options and would rather leave the trope as is, vote all of them down.
Look, KJ, just as tropes require being more than People Sit On Chairs, audience reactions need to be about more than "I liked this thing" or "I didn't like this thing". Write an episode review if you want to express your generalized opinion.
