Hey, it's THOSE guys again.
I'd be interested to hear the etymological root of the term "blueberry" as used here.
Daaaayum.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Blueberry? For the bright pink women?
Then again, racial slurs can be weird. Stephen King certainly knows some colorful ones.
... I think it's probably how they taste.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987If you're eating the divikin, I don't think you're allowed to call them bad names, You Monster!.
Also, "fun" reading here.
I remember a short Sci-Fi story called "Attack of the Charlie Chaplins". An alien invaded taking the form of Charlie Chaplin and Hollywood alien movies were secretly funded by the government to hash out contingency plans. Among other things, they start discussing an insulting slur to use against the aliens, believing it will help demoralize and demean them. Paraphrasing the dicussion;
"-something like 'Kraut'. Or 'Charlie'."
"We can't call him Charlie, that's already his name."
"Well, then how about 'Chuck'?"
"Why? How is that demoralizing or demeaning? My brother's name is Chuck."
"Yeah, well when you use it for your brother, it's warm and friendly. 'Chuck!' For Charlie, we'll make it sound wet and nasty. Chuck".

... Not THAT kind of eating.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Well, if you look here◊ you can see how Kit and Poe's lips are a purplish/blue color.
You oughta be able to extrapolate from there.
...That would be a very peculiar venue to take for a slur, then.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.People latch onto stupid shit when we want to be assholes to each other.
I'm guessing it's not only their mouths.
Aaaaaaand finally somebody starts catching on.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Oooooooooohhhhhh I get it now.
I got it before, that's what I was referring to.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Pink and blue? Their internal biochemistry must be remarkable.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"They said taste, not color.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I figured colour. It'd just be a pigment.
Kit's never down for long.
Love that last panel.
Trump delenda estNice bit of Lampshade Hanging from Sabueso, there. Do they forget that Kit has a Healing Factor?
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Well, Kit's been through a lot today. She started off fighting zombies, then got shot in the gut by a double barreled shotgun, then got slammed into the ground and thrown into a tree by a super zombie, then beat up by Jeanne, then dropped off a cliff, then hogtied by Sabueso, then electrocuted, then beat up by JDA agents.
(not including fighting the JDA guys earlier, the dryads, and saving Charsi from the cultists)
And she's only eaten breakfast, so she's probably hungry on top of it.
I guess Sabueso and the rest figured that she'd have to be almost out of gas by now!
(assuming they knew all that she had gone through prior to them plucking her out of the river all those pages ago)
Been a long, long day for lil' Miss Adams.

RAAAAAAARRRRR
If Liz is actually around, I imagine she'll come check out the racket any time now.
Alright, now that I am mostly moved-in, have a sample draft of the recap index. The redex? The incap?
I like what you got here.
I thought about doing something similar in the forums of the site, but I've never gotten around to it.
Having titles similar to Blood Meridian for The Dreadful is incredibly appropriate. That's the novel I finished up reading before starting the comic.
Also there's a section of it quoted in The Dreadful (Flashback: Kit and Poe in School)
