Hiroko turned when Andrea waved, still smiling. In reply, she simply mouthed "I made Kagawa-sensei more interesting."

—Tsubasa Suoh—

Tsubasa still didn't know what to think, and wondered why the hell nobody other than him seemed to notice that the real Kagawa-sensei was missing. He walked to the teacher's offices, hoping to see if he could find something. Suoh was left to assume that the strange pains he felt and Kagawa's disappearance were related, but on the other hand, why would that be?

—Natsuko Hikari—

Hikari had come back from the nurse's office and had attended the lecture. She was still worried about the ramifications of this wish, but she had to admit that she did find the new Kagawa-sensei far more interesting, and someone worth getting to know. She imagined learning quite a few things from her new teacher, but that would come another day. She went over to her desk, the one Hiroko was still sitting in. "We should go check up on Chiyo-chan, and walk her home. And then maybe we could have a study party, and by study I mean we get our..." Her voice sank to a whisper. "...furry little friend to tell us what the hell is going on."

"Right," Hiroko nodded, standing up. "Good idea. I'm pretty sure Chiyo is probably doing better, but I think walking her home would be for the best. And the other part, too."

She walked towards the door, then paused, turning back to Hikari and smiling "Everybody seemed pretty happy with Kagawa-sensei today."

"Well, other than Suoh. I wonder why he seemed to notice. Maybe he was the only one who cared?" Hikari went over to talk to Suoh, but he was already out of the classroom.

"Eh," Hiroko waved her hand dismissively. "I don't know why he wouldn't like the change. Kagawa-sensei is so much better now! Anyway, let's go check on Chiyo-chan."

Hiroko headed out the door, and started to make her way to the nurse's office.

—Tsubasa Suoh—

He didn't see new Kagawa anywhere here, so he walked over to Kagawa-sensei's desk. He remembered that the desk was a neat and tidy workspace, with no pictures or mementos. The books were all textbooks and other things meant for class. It was meant fully for working and nothing more. Suoh expected to see the exact opposite now.

Since Kagawa was originally my NPC...

There were plenty of the textbooks and such that Suoh was familiar with, still quite neat and tidy. But there were also various nicknacks and trinkets sitting around of various pastel colors, as well as several shoujo manga. It looked a lot like the desk of a teenaged girl who also happened to be a teacher.

Suoh asked the teacher sitting next to new Kagawa's desk. "Uh, what happened to Kagawa-sensei? Did his granddaughter that I never heard about take his place?"

"Huh?" The teacher looked at Suoh, confused. "He? What are you talking about, Tsukasa-san? Kagawa-sensei has worked here for the past four years. She's far too young to have a granddaughter."

If that teacher had been working here for the past four years, that would mean(judging by her appearance) that she had started teaching when she was at most nineteen. Which is pretty much impossible.

Hiroko knocked on the door to the nurse's office.

—Tsukasa Suoh—

Tsukasa was dumbfounded. "A...alright." He wondered if this was some odd practical trick being played on him by the entire school. But how did they get someone as humorless as Kagawa-sensei to go along with it?

—Natsuko Hikari—

Hikari stood with her friend. She was in a less cheerful mood than before.

The teacher regarded Suoh for a moment. "Are you feeling alright?"

I'll just wait for Gilphon before continuing at the Nurse's office.

"Tsukasa-kun?" A voice said from behind him.

The new Kagawa-sensei had just entered the teacher's lounge and was looking at him "Is there something wrong? It seemed like something was bothering you during class"

"Well, see you tommorrow, then," the teacher replied, going back to doing... whatever it was that he'd been doing. He looked up when Kagawa-sensei entered, and smiled.

Suoh stared at New Kagawa, trying to decide whether to just lie or call his 'teacher' out. He decided that halfway would do. "I just felt odd, like something wasn't right."

"Hmmm I see... what exactly made you feel this way? Did the feeling get worse with any particular event?" The woman asked with concern.

Erm… it somebody going to play the nurse? I'm willing to do it if we decide we need her, but do we?

The knock on the door roused Chiyo from the sleep she was surprised to see she'd fallen into. Slightly disoriented, and she sat up, trying to judge her mental condition. Well, if I'm well enough to sleep like that, I'm probably okay, she reasoned.

But how long had she been asleep? Was school over yet?

"Uh, this might sound weird, but I have a couple questions for you. First, can you tell me what books I tend to read at home? Second, can you tell me Hikari's favorite country?" He knew that if she was really the same Kagawa-sensei, she'd only get the first one but not the second. If she didn't get either, Suoh would know she was a definite impostor. If she got both, then... something was truly strange. Kagawa-sensei had never paid attention to Hikari before.

The correct answers are "Charles Stross" and "the Byzantine Empire". If you want to answer incorrectly, just say something else.

The nurse opened the door and quickly allowed Hiroko and Hikari in.

"She fell asleep a while ago, she seems fine now," the nurse explained, stepping out of the way to let the two girls see their friend.

"Hey, Chiyo-chan!" said Hiroko brightly, walking over to her friend. "How are you feeling?"

Hikari followed them into the room. "Hey, schools over. Feeling better? Uh... I still have my lunch that we didn't get to eat, if you guys are hungry."

"Well the first one is easy. After all your love of Charles Stross is no secret, Tsukasa-kun" Kagawa said with a bright smile before she closed her eyes and concentrated. The old Kagawa-sensei would have never remembered and most certainly would have never cared, but the seeing the memories of classes past with her new eyes she found the answer "I'm not sure if it's her favorite country... But Hikari-chan always seems to perk up when we are discussing the Byzantine Empire"

—Tsukasa Suoh—

"Uh... That's right. For both of those." Suoh was completely confused at how this newcomer had learned things so quickly. Had she been spying on them for months now? "Well, thanks. I think I'll be going home. See you tomorrow, uh, Kagawa-sensei."

—Natsuko Hikari—

"Well, I don't think they'd let us eat here in the nurse's office. Maybe we can eat the more finger food-y things on the way back home?"

"Goodbye Tsukasa-kun" Kagawa-sensei said, as she waved him goodbye. She tried to look friendly, but to say the truth she was a little worried about the questions that Tsukasa made to her.

I wonder what's the matter... It's not like him to act this way...

Chiyo smiled at her friends. "I think I'm alright now, and-" Chiyo suddenly realized how hungry she was. Now that she thought about it, she hadn't had any lunch, had she? "Food definitely sounds nice."
