I mean, Barbieheimer worked because it was two different movies not competing with an audience. Can't say the same for Transformers.

(Although personally The Wild Robot looks better)

The context is that before the person above pagetopped, the previous commenter was tying in all-caps about the folks at Dreamworks moving The Wild Robot up the next week, instead of debuting at the same time as the Transformers CGI film to directly compete with it, and such was their disbelief and confoundment that they could not help but trigger the Caps Lock, or hold shift the entire time, thus resulting in the aforementioned pagetopper telling them to use their indoor voice... at which point they pagetopped, thus acknowledging said pagetopping.

DreamWorks is producing a movie adaptation of their Netflix preschool show Gabby’s Dollhouse. Source is Deadline.

Huh.. For some reason I was under the impression Nickelodeon owned that show.

Yeah, on Nick JR. actually. IG they just got the rights to air it on cable.

Here in Canada most of the Dreamworks shows air on cable channels, mainly Family Channel and its sister channels Wildbrain TV (formerly Family CHRGD) and Family Jr, with a few on YTV. The aformentioned Gabby's Dollhouse is on Treehouse, Canada's equivalent to Nick Jr.

Here Gabby's Dollhouse airs in Netflix. Also I thought DW had a hand in the CG.

Also wow didn't know Dragons: The Nine Realms lasted long. Apparently just finished its season last year in December.

Oh okay. That number makes sense. I'm actually surprised that the fourth Kung Fu Panda movie is doing so well. But, this franchise has always done well at the box office.

It's catching up to the 3rd film's 521 million.

How much did the first two Kung Fu Panda movies made?

631M and 665M respectively.

So I watched today Penguins of Madagascar on Netflix and I noticed that human characters look similar to how humans looked like in Home (2015), while some human women look similar to Ugga and Eep from The Croods. Did anyone else noticed that?

Day 5: Joseph: King of Dreams... not their best work.

I'm going to say it outiright: Shrek doesn't deserve just memes and lampooning, not the first film... because you know what?

This scene... this scene... is sheer magic, I shit you not. This formulative scene, part of a very formulative movie, helped to broaden my mind on what was actually possible with cinematic storytelling.

Ah, Shrek. A franchise that has some really high highs yet also really low lows.. The first film definitely holds up though.

Even the first Puss in Boots had that twist villain reveal that was ahead of its time in taking the piss out of the trope in a hilarious way.

I think the first Puss in Boots movie is actually good though. Shrek the Third is the only film in the series I consider bad (or at the very least, mediocre).
