I'm just at my wits end. I just want to make something special, and it's astoundingly frustrating that I can't.

I find you can't take writing too seriously. You just have fun and skill will come naturally. or not, it doesn't really matter. Very few good writers can make a living anyway, it's the same as sports you don't actually try to go pro, you just have fun.

Don't take it too seriously, don't dedicate too much to it.

Make it a back-burner project while you live your life.

Otherwise, you'll burn yourself out.

Trust in your self. Nobody starts being good at the first time. Just write what you love.But always seeks to improve.

Put all your attention on constuctive criticism.Criticism is always a hit to our eg's but is the only way to grow. But ignore insults (those poeple are simplye being jelous).
