Anybody else read this manga? This has got to be one of the best newer Jump manga in a while. It's funny, it has a unique concept, and the main character Shiina is crazy! I'm really hoping this one gets big.

Check it out: http://www.mangafox.com/manga/oumagadoki_doubutsuen

EDIT: Oops. I made a typo. The title is actually "Oumagadoki Doubutsuen". Sorry about that.

okay...the plot synopsis wasn't very good at drawing in my attention...

What's you description of the series without spoiling too much?

Basically, it's about a clumsy teenage girl named Hana Aoi who hears about a zoo called Oumagadoki Zoo that needs workers. Since she knows a lot about animals, she decides to get a job there. However, when she gets to the zoo, she finds out that Shiina, the zoo director, was cursed and turned into a humanoid rabbit as a child. Not only that, but he is also able to turn the animals into more humanoid forms too. If he is able to create the world's greatest zoo, the curse will break and he will turn back into a human.

For the first couple chapters, it basically involves Hana trying to help the animals overcome certain difficulties they have (for example, the cheetah is overweight and doesn't feel like running). The plot shifts gears and become less episodic around the 8th or 9th chapter (can't remember). I don't want to spoil anything though.

Shiina, the zoo director, is a pretty great main character. He's totally nuts and likes to do things his way. While he may act like a jerk most of the time, he's actually DOES care about the animals. Also, when he eats a carrot, it looks like he's smoking a cigar. [lol]

As I said, I don't want to spoil anything, but trust me. It gets better.

If you're talking about fights, then yes. Although they don't actually come around until a little bit later.

Yeah, I've read it. It should REALLY have a page, even if it hasn't updated in a while.

The translations are actually starting up again. The translator was on vacation, but now he's back and supposedly will update regularly.
