^^^^Get help, deal with your problems, try not to snap and shoot people. Nobody is punching you in the face on a daily basis; take stock of your issues and figure out how you're going to deal with each one.

Angst sometimes serves that purpose, though not always.
tbh, I tend to think of that kind of thing as "not my business".
I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....So back to bullies, how the hell did cyber bullying get added to the classification?
Because there's really no functional difference between threatening someone on Facebook and threatening them irl?
I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....You can turn screen the individuals from your friends list to eliminate the shit talkers, better yet; you can turn off your pc.

I would — in a sort of aikido — redirect their death threats at each other. Slightly reword their 'messages' where appropriate, and send from their (spoofed) e-mail addresses. Watch the mudslinging fly!

@JB: If you're weak willed enough to off yourself because some fuck online tell you to; well there's not much I can add to that.
I agree that RL bullying is a more urgent and severe concern than "cyber-bullying" (if only because you HAVE to go to school, but you don't have to use the Internet) but even then I don't think the latter should be ignored.
Hell, maybe if we were to have a better sense of justice in schools and instill a better sense of justice in kids as a result, we might have better behaved kids, which may reduce cyberbullying in the process!
EDIT: Also...
"If you're weak willed enough to off yourself because some fuck online tell you to; well there's not much I can add to that." - Kino
So, survival of the fittest, is that it? If someone is weak willed they deserve to die, and the person who took advantage of their weak will shouldn't be held responsible?

^Maybe, but I wouldn't hold my breath; teach your kids to mind their own business and fight when they have to.

When did I say anyone deserved to die?

Thing is, in practice, we can't make all parents raise their children the way YOU think they should be raised. What we MIGHT be able to do, though, is actually have a better sense of justice in school systems, so as to instill a better sense of justice in kids where parenting fails.

You were implying it. That's close enough.

^Like I said, that's highly unlikely; I'd rather my children not have to fight, but I'm a realist.

Yeah, thinking that people who are open to suggestion via the internet = Weak peole need to die. Brilliant deduction.

Your teacher must've had a lot more balls and/or leeway than around here. Kudos to them.

Which leads us right back to "survival of the fittest."
If I was really into survival of the fittest, I'd tell everyone here complaining to deal with their issues or shut the fuck up. I haven't done that.
I forget, was it you or Scrye that did the Man Up thread?

But you HAVE blamed the people weak willed enough to be talked into suicide online for their suicides, and say nothing about those evil enough to take advantage of that.
That's what I said. Now sure how you confuse "not much I can add to that" with me blaming people.
Now do you have anything to contribute or do you plan on spending your time searching my posts for something that doesn't exist?
@Pykrete: Yours truly.
