This was Skye's chance. That trainer with the Feraligatr had to beat these trainers before entering the Tower. They managed, so surely these weren't too bad! ...But then again, that trainer also earned the respect of a legendary. Ho-oh was definitely much more powerful than all of these trainers combined... Skye started feeling nervous...
Eskay sent out a Marshtomp first. Amphibidax. It wouldn't be long before he evolved a second time. But for now, he was still just a Marshtomp.
The Kimono Girl sent out her Jolteon — a matchup that seemed in Dax's favor. But yet, the Jolteon seemed to be able to avoid every move Dax made... Eventually the Jolteon defeated Dax with far less damage than what he had dealt.
Skye started to get the feeling these girls were a definite force to be reckoned with. But she was not going to give up before she even began. She was being called out next.
On and on, the battle continued, but in the end Eskay's team was defeated. The Kimono Girl's Jolteon had almost gone down, but was still barely conscious.
Eskay made a promise to return when his team was stronger, a promise that would be fulfilled slightly more than a year later...
