<Vlad: "I'm sure that it will turn out well. I mean, look at how everything's gone for us so far.">

<Gligar!Vlad: "Yeah, I'm surprised if we couldn't figure out what island they were on by the end of the day.">

<Pascal: "I don't know man... I'm getting a real bad trip about what's going on...">

<Guy: "Why do you say that?">

<Toothless: "Well we have been having a lot of luck recently. I don't think that we can count on it always being there for us...">

<Nadia: "Everything has just seemed too easy so far...">

<Iron Marrow: "Almost falling off a bridge is easy?">

<Milo: "Eh, what are the odds of that?">

<Shaun: "No, I think that Pascal's onto something... I really do think that something's about to happen... And I don't think that it's going to be helpful for us...">

<Mike: "Eh, easy is boring. Life needs more excitement, more action, and more opponents to beat the tar out of!">

<Vesta: "Oh, good morning!">

<Leavanny: "Good morning.">

<Teala: "Did you all sleep well?">

<Crustle: "... How on earth did so many people find out about those portals?">

<Kat: "Word spreads fast. And we've got help in one of the towns that the portals are in.">

<Heracross: "Where are they all going?">

<Milo: "Anywhere far, far away from this ho- Er... No offense.">

<Vespiquen: "None taken.">

<Galvantula: "What happened to the other pig friend that was with you yesterday, and those other Pokemon?">

"They're trying to figure out the most direct route to Almia. None of the outbound portals seem to lead there."

<Vlad: "We'll get to say goodbye to them, right?">

<Shaun: "They said that they would meet us before they left.">

<Aloysius: "Oh good... I was hoping to talk with that Lardna girl before she left...">

<Vesta: "Well... If you've been awakened, there is the Dream World, Aloysius...">

<Aloysius: "I suppose, but it's not quite the same...">

"Hmm... We should probably go meet up with Luke and Tagg and figure out what we're going to do."

-Heads off with group-

-Crowley lowers his head, rather ashamed.-

Crowley: <...I admit that I collaborated with 'dose awful Pokémon in the past, but I only did it to keep my family safe.

As for Luke, I know him well, as he is...Or at least, should have been my trainer. I admit, I did threaten him, but I wasn't exactly myself when it happened.

I assume you wish ta' punish me for 'dis?>

Conrad: <Yes! Use him as a ramming ba->

Conrad: <Ow!>

-Notices Tracer and his mons, along with Burgh's Pokémon.-

Oh, hey guys. Are you ready to get going?

"We are, Luke."

<Scolipede: "Do you have any idea where we would start looking?">

<Shaun: "Hmm... I guess we should try and figure out if any portals open onto those islands...">

At the depths of the Colony

-A couple of Nidorina and Nidoran♀ students are relaxing and meditating under the careful watch of the Elders, accompanied by small Pokémon like Spinarak and Yanma-

Elder — <You will also learn about the secret places in this colony that must be protected, at all costs.>

"Yes, instructor."

-One of the Elders approaches Hyzenthlay and sits with her-

Elder — <You still haven't been able to clear your sight, child?>

Hyzenthlay (ashamed) — <No, sir...>

Elder (shrugs) — <Don't rush it. Now, please, come with me, there is someone who needs to see you.>

Hyzenthlay — <Like, now?> — raises an ear and follows.

-Beyond some patches of grass they meet a Nidorina-

At the meeting with Crowley

-The two Nidorina give a halfhearted laugh-

Mayonaka — <We have confirmed previously that you speak the truth, bird. We just wanted to make sure that you were still following it.>

Nidorina (listens to Conrad, smirks) — <And rest assured that even if you were guilty, you won't be delivered to be a... rammingbag. That fate is reserved for the predators we manage to kill.>

Mayonaka (stares at her paw, talks disinterestedly) — <Mostly Skarmory...>

-Then she steps forward-

Mayonaka — <So I assume you want to protect these lands now. You sure have heard the news about wars everywhere, with that big tower where you guys nest...> — tilts head — <What do you think about it?>

Conrad: <Aww...>

Crowley: <I can't say I'm pleased. The news has thrown my murder into an uproar. A lot of 'dem are frighted at the idea of an attack. Some of da' more cowardly ones have even chosen ta' flee.

Even so, I will not sit and watch as these evil Pokémon try to march in and take our land. I assure you d'at we will do everything 'dat we can to keep them back. They will learn 'dat no-mon attempts to invade Johto and gets away with it.

...I trust 'dat you all feel the same way?>

Unite: <I'm sure one of them must lead to them. They're supposed to go everywhere, right?>

Supposedly. We might have to check a few of them before we find the right one, though.

Flare: <Ah well, we'll just put it down as a bit of sight-seeing.>

Wulfric: <That's a good way of putting it.>

You're ready to search for the Gym Leaders with you're Aura, right Wulfric?

Wulfric: -Nods.- <Yes. I'm ready.>

Unite: <Great. Shall we get going, then?>

Mayonaka — <So I think the time is right to offer some mutual support...> — points to the city — <Ever heard of Silent? He's helping us getting some armors and stuff. I heard your former boss did the same...>

Wishmur — <It would be interesting to get to actually see how good they are.>

-finishes talking to Blue and Steven and leaves the room-

<Kat: "We're apparently on Quest Island. It's a rather dangerous place to travel in if you're not prepared.">

<Iron Marrow: "Mmph. Perhaps it's dangerous for YOUR brethren...">

<Teala: "... What's wrong with it?">

<Vesta: "It has a lot of very powerful and aggressive Pokemon here.">

<Vlad: "Aww... They weren't that bad...">

<Nadia: "Vlad, we got ambushed here. Repeatedly. By SKARMORY.">

<Shaun: "And there was that one time we ran into that Tyranitar.">

<Leavanny: "Eep.">

<Galvantula: "... I'm hoping that the locals were never recruited by those horrid rulers back in Unova.">

<Kyle: "Oh dear Arceus, that would be such a nightmare...">

-Wulfric closes his eyes, his Aura sensors standing erect and glowing blue as he reaches out to try and find the Gym Leader's Aura.-

Wulfric: <Um...OH! I've got something!>

Flare: <You have?>

Wulfric: <Yes! There's a whole cluster of human auras deep in the Canyon!>

Stratus: <That must be them, then!>

Lake: <Do they seem to be in any danger, Wulfric?>

Wulfric: <I don't think so...But, I was picking up a lot of Cubone and Marowak auras near them, too.>

...Uh-oh.

Sunny: <Why would I think that? It's been totally obvious to me the moment you two met. Felis told me you were even holding hands yesterday!>

Orange Islands Sea

Researcher #1: So, you really don't talk much, do you Tagg?

"Tagg": -shrugs with a "sorry" expression-

"Tangent": <Things are going to go boom any minute now...>

Researcher #3: OK... so, as you know, this expedition takes us to the reefs of New Island to study the flow of water around the island, mapping temperatures, salinities, opacity, and so forth. We'll be passing the Sevii Islands on the way, and the northernmost of the Orange Islands can be glimpsed on a clear day from where we'll be.

"Tangent": ...

"Tagg": <Eep. Sorry?>

Researcher #2: And to our right, you can see Quest Island... glad we aren't going-

"Tagg": !!! <That's where the Gym Leaders are supposed to be! We were meant to check on them, yes?>

-starts gesticulating wildly towards Quest-

"Tangent": Well, marooned on Quest is better than walking the plank... marginally...

-walks to the navigator and directs him to alter course to the west-

Researcher #2: Dr. Tagg wants us to go THERE?!

-spots Crewe wandering around-

-after Sunny mentions Felis seeing Mezzo and I holding hands-

Muddy: <It's like the Sevii Islands version of Tuchanka, or Hoenn's Victory Road.>

Think the Challenger's Cave in terms of general deadliness.
