You know, I noticed something else about the Hydreigon. It was remarkably alive.

You may have ordered them to stay, but was anything actually keeping them there? Sounds to me like the only mons who actually stayed were the ones who were willing to already.

It doesn't matter... I had still sent them off to die... Oh. Oh Arceus. All of my own Pokémon...they were lieutenants in the army. They're all dead now, probably...

-Shaun and Vesta are comboing Discharge on a group of attackers-

<Kat: "Sorry, I don't date Pokemon that make threats to my trainer. And I've got someone already.">

-Iron Marrow is busy bludgeoning a Haxorus-

<Iron Marrow: "You barbarians conquered a region? You can't even fight properly!">

-Milo and Pascal are both using Hydro Pump, the former shooting a Gliscor out of the sky, the latter mowing down a Darmatian-

<Pascal: "Nice form, dude...">

<Milo: "Thanks, I try...">

-Further aside-

<Zoroark: "Grr... You'll have to do more than that to stop u- AAAAH!">

-Is facehugged by Gligar!Vlad-

<Gligar!Vlad: "Oh hi there! You're not mean like the other Pokemon, are you?">

-Is X-Scissored in the gut by Vlad-

-Guy Brave Birds a Leavanny, and winds up getting ringed by three attackers-

-Attempts to use Dark Pulse, aiming for Shaun and Vesta-

<Mike: "Not likely, buddy!">

-Uses ExtremeSpeed to run into the attack's path... And shrugs it off-

<Tyranitar: "... WHAT?!">

<Mike: "This goes out to your employers!">

-Uses a boosted Close Combat on the Tyranitar-

-Nadia uses Dragon Dance, and begins to mow down different attackers-

<Beartic: "Eat this, ya dumb li- AAARRRGGHHH!">

-Is Fire Blasted by Kyle-

-Teala meanwhile just took a punch from a Mienshao-

Any one of them that wasn't in Undella Town or Black City when Napoleon went through probably died in Nimbasa City. They aren't like those other mons. They would have been loyal to me...to the end...
