And we know not how to find him.>

-on a holographic Light Screen, Tripod projects an image of human Silas-

-As Thespi details her distress, the lens that constitutes DU-91's left eye rotates and extends to record her. The mechanical Taillow analyzes the image projected on the Light Screen.-

DU-91: I see... This is very useful information, ma'am! I will send this information to headquarters immediately, and they will relay the message to our operatives in Kalos to assist. However, before that can happen...

-He hops over to Megan, little tiny gears clicking.-

DU-91: You said you have some ideas regarding this situation?

-Kai grins.-

He had been working towards this for a while now. He knew it was likely that his team would be in for a rather rude awakening. But he didn't care much. To his knowledge, his team was prepared for this - he had decided on his team well in advance, much to one 'mon's dismay.

DD: Remind me why Colt decided not to send us out?

AZ: We're already in Unova's Hall of Fame, c'mon.

VA: I don't see what the problem is; if he doesn't want to send us out, that's his call.

SP: I mean, the last one was rather boring...

LE: Well, you're still in Unova's, one way or another.

Colt drew his phone.

He sent the message and thus entered to begin.

Hoenn Pokemon League - Sidney's Chamber

He passed through the door and was saw someone with piercing red eyes. He held his breath and surreptitiously summoned his Night Slash Claws, just to make him feel a little better.

"I know that look," Sidney chimed. "that's someone dreading the upcoming battles, heh."

"Look, we know why we're here, so let's get down to business."

Sidney took a step back with his arms raised in mock surrender. "Okay, tough guy, let's see what you got."

Colt mulled over his options. Whoever he selected would be locked into the rest of the League.

<Fighting-type?> Julius barked back to his trainer. <REALLY?>

The Stoutland then decided to consider his options, so he needed a quick pause.

Which Scrafty learned the hard way didn't follow a certain rule.

Having reconstituted himself somewhat, he found an opening in the staggering Scrafty and dove.

But his earlier intimidation means it didn't end as well as it could have, so Scrafty still stood and countered the attack.

The purple-tinged fist slammed into Julius, but was able to avoid being poisoned. Having taken some amount of damage, he capitalized.

When it connected, Scrafty slid backward a fair distance and struggled to get up. He eventually did, and the two exchanged blows.

Of course, Scrafty met him with a Brick Break at the same time the Shell Bell did its thing, so it was ultimately not much of a heal. But Julius kept truckin'.

Later on, Julius would realize he should have seen that coming, as there was a sort of demeanor to that move not dissimilar to Rei using Fake Out.

But enough tangents; he got slapped on the face hard.

Hyul Castle

<NO.> Talbain barked after he landed, having returned his team and used Rock Climb afterward to safely descend and land relatively uninjured. He removed his scarf and continued. "Atomizing him will insinuate that there is something left of him. What we're gonna do is worse than that.

"But I am kinda curious about what's beyond the barrier, so let's hold up on our threats for now?" He offered, knowing he'd be shoved aside and bracing for the fall.

Psyche teleglomps Kai. ~’’FUCKING FINALLY.’’~

-Brie and Ever glance at their phones-

Brie: You know this guy?

Ever: Yeah, he seems cool. I played poker with his Sylveon once.

Brie: ...Okay.

-Kai squeaks and giggles as Psyche teleports in and hugs her-

Kai: Hello~

-She hugs back tightly-

Thespi: <Thank you so much! You are truly kind heroes, and we are immensely grateful for your aid! Also, can you send my regards to Captain Kattrea? "Our story continues!" ^_^>

Megan: Ah! W-well, I really only have two ideas for finding him, aside from the usual search-and-ask method. Ally Switch—

Tripod: -beeeep-

Megan: Dammit. And using Aura Sight—

-she gestures at Pollen-

—to try to track him through his bonds to those close to him. I don't know how that'd interact with a Vow sworn to someone else, though...

Pollen: <We're told he was Mega Evolved, and went berserk and ran off somewhere around Route 19. His team, who we're in contact with—>

Megan: Um, here's his phone number—

Pollen: <—has checked the Route themselves, and found no sign of him. Last we checked, they hadn't managed to ask around the Pokémon Centers to see if anyone's come in which a new Lucario.>

Megan: And...I think that's all we've got?

Pollen: <I think so, yes.>

~Hai~~ -snugglehugs- ~ It’s been a while since we’ve done this, really. Feels nice~ Last few times have been kinda somber hugs.~

Kai: Yeah, it really is. We needed this. There's been a huge hug supply shortage compared to the demand e.g. me craving affection pretty much 24/7 and being busy with stressful family situations.

-The Taillow clicks in affirmation.-

Psyche thinks for a minute. ~We should fix this, here take these.~

-Kai looks at the coupons and giggles-

-She smirks.-

Kai: By the way I was absolutely bullshitting you about the Process. You could have just hugged me right then and there and I wouldn't have objected. 💜

Kai: ...I'm glad we got past that whole "awkward post-relationship discomfort" stage. That really went on way longer than it should have.

Psyche rubs the back of her head. ~To Be Fair, I should have tried to fix it myself more.~

Kai: Hey, we know better now. That's what matters. We're past it, and if the need ever arises again for either of us, we have the experience to handle it better.
