He smiles wickedly at Kane.

"Let the training exercise begin..."

Mecha rolls in, and looks at D, "What are you planning, and how concerned should we be?"

"Oh you should be very concerned, my metallic friend."

Spins the newly converted Ultra Ball in his fingertip.

"At the end of the day, you and all of your friends are gonna be mine."

Kane roared right in Mecha's face.

Jacob: "I mean typically we respect our elders and refrain from cursing, but on the other hand she's adulted enough to earn it and also yeah. I am lacking context but. Yes."

Regina: <Elizabeth Cain... Huh. So you're related to Lawrence and Lucius then, Psyche?>

Jacob: "... That's a really fucked up family tree."

Psyche nods. ~Yeah, I am. Wait, I never told y'all? We've known for years, I thought that had just proliferated enough by now.~

Elizabeth headtilts. "What's wrong with our family tree?"

Nimbasa

Jacob: "Oh, right. Most people don't understand Pokemon. Regina?"

Regina: <Ah. Yes.>

~So you're related to Lawrence and Lucius then?~

Jacob: "I'm typically pretty out of the loop. So. I'm not surprised."

Mobius Airship

??? walks in on this happening!

And immediately walks back out.

Elizabeth shrugs. "The name Lawrence came up when I was reading... I suppose my will? I don't know." She stops suddenly. "Ah! What is your name? For some reason, I couldn't find a single piece of documentation that had your name on it?"

Psyche blinks. ~That... isn't surprising. Anything that would have had my name on it has been burned long ago, probably. That bastard... Most people call me Psyche, but uh, I was named Caroline.~

Elizabeth thinks for a second. "...Caroline, huh? Yeah, I've got nothing. Sorry..."

Iron Aux Base

Scarlette: ...I... can't say I've met them, unfortunately. And I don't really know if I can help all that much with Research division stuff, I'm in Security.

-She rubs her neck-

-She teleports away and comes back with Michael and Selena.-

Aurora: <Well kiddos, looks like we get to play a game.>

Mecha's wheels spinup and he rolls out, "Omega! COVER!"

Out stomps the big robot body worn by Omega, who declares "FINALLY! A EXCUSE!"

The arms deploy twin cannons and begin to fire electric blasts right at Kane.

OMEGA USES CHARGE BEAM (MODIFIED)

Omega would like it if the blasts did more damage on their own, but for this, they were diminished to a tenth of their original power. Shame really, but not enough to bother Omega.

Zelel: "Preposterous."

Michael: <Mmmhmm.>

Zelel: "...take us there, Aurora."

-They appear behind Omega and Mecha.-

Aurora: <Y'all need some help?>

-Zelel's arm cannon pops out and fires a Moonblast. Aurora and Selena take cover, while Michael crouches next to Zelel, ready to pounce.-

As the two make it to the halfway point, the Guardians turn their heads around towards them and sit there, waiting, as if waiting for the opportunity to make the perfect strike.

With Pent getting out of the way, the Guardian doesn't know what to do. The Small Shadow however is struck hard enough for defeat.

If he was any angrier, he'd go in and vaporize the Barista, but that would get him banned from a coffee shop and thus was not worth it. ~Curse my need for the bean!~

Psyche bristles. ~...Jacob, I agree, let's go somewhere else to sit down. Get a drink, maybe a stiff bourbon.~

Colton paused, looking at the statues looking at them. He held his breath, barely having enough to speak one simple idea.

“Cynthia? Please?”

“Actually,” Colton paused, looking at Amaterasu eyeing the scarf her trainer replaced. “Is there anything that could acheive the inverse effect - ‘mon to human?”

And then Amaterasu was wearing a scarf.

??? is about to keep walking when a Rockruff pops out of one of the balls on his belt.

Arianne: <Hey Marco, shouldn't you help out or something?>

Marco (it only took me three appearances this time, woo hoo) turns and looks at her.

"I don't get paid enough to care about that. You can go do something if you want."

Arianne shrugs as best she can for somemon with no shoulders and runs off excitedly. Marco pauses for a few seconds, then resignedly turns around and follows Arianne. Just to make sure nothing bad happens to her. Not that it would. But just in case.

Arianne goes and throws a rock at Kane.
