"... You'd think we'd have more time to visit each other in the same region but the Brain Train is difficult and Champion-to-be Express has very few stops in that area. I haven't been really up to date with what's been going on except APPARENTLY THE SKY BROKE."

-Ludmilla bursts out of the laundry, in a manner far more literal than was intended as she sends telekinetic thrust out in all directs - any way to get the stankcloth off of her and get away from the condescending woman. She runs out of the room and down the hallway at top speed.-

Vierr: It seems like whenever they see each other they suddenly get five times more narcissistic and overdramatic.

Kaito: Yeah, I'd only just gotten here when the sky blew up. I was here for Alli's Champion battle, see. It. Went kinda sour. I'm sorta still trying to make amends with her. She won, though! It just. Wasn't a pretty win. Technicality wins don't sit well with anyone.

Echo: Right, yes. Colton wants to borrow the pen for one reason or another.

"Has she been uploading the files from the computer lab or from a personal computer?"

I don't recall her being assigned to this, specially since I have assigned her to this menial task. Why her I wonder? If the boss wills it...

Jacob: "Ahh yes indeed. Well, she'll probably be fine, though. The little I've interacted with her, she seems resilient underneath the fluff."

-He reclines back and takes out a water bottle and starts drinking it-

"And you recently, ish, completed your Frontier Brain training, right?"

I would like to know what you intend to do with an obscura and glitch artifact with an amoral mind and voice of it's own, yes.

The Pen has manifested it's more human avatar to everyone there, -Hey. Don't I get a say in this? I haven't been paying attention much, but I caught onto being borrowed. What's going on?-

PEFE!Every: I love this team so much!

Cytosol: <Maybe don't forget who we actually work for.>

PEFE!Every: Well, of course not. But usurping gods? An AI in love? No friendly teleporting Delphox? A way lower likelihood of being blackmailed into trying to steal from Cipher? It's basically perfect.

Cytosol: <For now.>

???: Excuse us.

PEFE!Every: Huh?

-she turns, to see a man and woman standing behind her-

Man: You're blocking the path.

Woman: Please move.

PEFE!Every: Oh, whoops, sorry.

-she moves to the side, and the two continue down the hallway, then pause-

Woman: You look familiar.

Man: Have we met before?

PEFE!Every: You might have met my double.

Man: Your double.

Woman: That seems unlikely, to say the least.

PEFE!Every: I would have thought the same. Unfortunately...

Woman: Interesting.

Man: Why might we have met your double?

PEFE!Every: He's distressingly well-known. His name is Ever, he's with the J-team.

-the man and woman look at each other-

Man: Which leaves us with the question of your familiarity.

-he pulls out a pen, and begins scribbling on the paper-

-Mezzo runs over to Pianis and grabs him by the neck-

Mezzo: Why is our sister flying straight toward the doom crack in the sky? Weren't you keeping an eye on her?

Pianis: She's what? ...I thought you were.

-the birds fly through the portal, and the place they arrive at looks a lot like the place they left... the mountain is still there, for one-

-however, the tear in the sky is gone-

-in fact, the sky appears to be nothing but a black void now, tinged with a slight red at the horizon-

Grayson: <Whoa! Who turned out the lights?>

Minty: <My lady, I'm beginning to have regrets about going this far.>

Fortis: We can't turn back now, though!

"Oh, hey, you can do that." Colton breathed. "Yeah, I think these guys - " he said gesturing with a thumb at Echo and Mew. "have plans to take glitches and... censor them, is probably a good way to put it." He explained.

Kaito: Indeed I have. Scott's still working on trying to figure out a new Battle Facility, and even once he does, it's gonna take a while before it's actually built, but in the meantime, I'm filling in for Anabel while she does police work.

-They take a sip of... huh, didn't realize they drank wine.-

Kaito: By the way, Anabel is in Interpol. That's a thing.

-Echo blinks.-

Echo: ...I suppose that answers that. I wouldn't say "censor", especially if they originate from this world, but of course we need to make sure you're not dangerous.

-She exits, following Orlandeau's directions. Gus trails behind her.-

-Behind her, Ludmilla can hear footsteps, and in another direction, what sounds like a boombox blasting some familiar music.-

Jacob: -He nods- "This I actually knew. I tried running the gauntlet that was the Battle Frontier before I met the J-Team like, 4, 5 years ago. I made it through everyone but Lucy because I didn't even bother trying the Pike. I researched as much as I could about the Brains though and have kept up to date about their goings-on. But I wasn't aware she'd been called away for work recently."

-He now has his own glass of wine because CLASSY-

"But that's good to hear. And getting in some practical work before your own facility will be good for you. I know standing in for Steven and Wallace like... twice, three times now? Has been a good experience for me. I mean, between beating up Zrone, Cipher, and a major glitch, I've been trying to get in as much practice as I can."

Kaisei: "Uh... hey. You can call me Kaisei. I'm a breeder who came here because... I was interested and such."

"Oh, I wasn't insinuating anything like that," Colton defended before looking back at Mew and Echo. "Was I? I mean, I don't know what you're planning on doing to glitches with malicious intent, and I was kinda told that pen would do some things to me," he explained.

Echo: I see. That's understandable, then — you're not the only glitch I know members of this team are keeping around to utilize for good purposes. If you're simply trying to be an Obscura teacher, then by all means, go ahead — but we would still like to keep an eye on you, just in case.

Kaito: Oh? You've been keeping Cipher at bay while we've been occupied with other things? That's certainly a relief, although by all means do keep me updated if you feel like you're biting off more than you can chew. A new adventure with an old friend would always be welcome.

-They smile. The sparkles briefly reappear.-

Ludmilla: This is the only place I can find Buginium! Who are you, anyway?!

-Hermes may be strong, but definitely not sturdy. He goes down, and a different Pokemon takes his place.-
