-Krieg is hot on the other Frieden's tail. The Clawitzer is sent out again to stop Krieg in his track.-

Krieg: Magma, get this blue bastard!

-Krieg throws out Magma, and stops the Clawitzer's Water Pulse. Krieg continues his chase and leaving Magma to deal with the Clawitzer.>

Clawitzer: <I see that your trainer makes fatal mistakes regularly.>

Magma: <And I see that your on the Kalos cuisine menu regularly.>

-Clawitzer and Magma both glare at each other-

Magma: <do you know what's the difference between you and your species?>

Clawitzer: <What?>

Magma: <One's rare, while the other's gonna be well done.>

-Clawitzer shoots out a stream of highly pressurized water. Magma dodges it with ease. Clawitzer fires a purple aura in shape of a dragon at Magma. Magma slides on the floor and the aura barely misses his head. Various streams of different colours are fired from Clawitzer's claw. None of them seems to hit Magma.-

Clawitzer: <Dodge all you want, Egg! None of your attacks can harm me!>

Magma: <Is that because you assume all of my attacks are fire type?>

Clawitzer: <What else can your savage species learn?>

-Magma, enraged by this, sprints up to Clawitzer before it can shoot another stream.-

Magma: <My species can learn other ways of heating shit up!>

-Magma strikes with a fist charged with electricity. He uses his other hand to grab on to the Clawitzer, causing the electricity to continue coursing through its body-

Magma: <This is what I call innovation in cooking!>

-By the time Magma lets go, the Clawitzer has fainted, smoke rising from it's body.-

Magma: <bon appétit.>

-Shaun, Lightning, Ace, and Tsunami are here doing...a thing. Let's say walking. Or in Lightning's case, standing on Shaun's shoulder.-

Route 15

Out of the foliage stepped a Genesect, following several Pelippers

<Ah the Pelipper. So majes->

<BITE ME!>

<...So Maj->

<BITE ME LOSER!>

<...So->

<I SAID BITE ME!>

The Pelipers flew away leaving the Genesect alone. <Those were some big mean birds.>

Shaun: "Sure sounds like it..."

-They look at 16.-

Ace: <A Genesect?>

Route 15

16 was aware he was being looked at, and turned his head to face Shaun, <I like your Starraptor.>

Shaun: "...Thanks?"

Ace: <Thank you?>

-Tsunami takes a moment to look at the both of them, then turns back.-

Shaun: "You got a name?"

Route 15

<I am Subject 16,> 16 answered looking at Ace and Shaun, turning his large body towards both of them, <Who are you?>

Ace: <I am Ace.>

Shaun: "I'm Shaun, and this is Lightning and Tsunami."

-Lightning does a little wave while Tsunami nods at 16 and preens the feathers on her right wing.-

Shaun: "Are there 15 other Subjects?"

Route 15

<There were. Few were successful and managed to sustain their genome. Such as Subject 13, who and I quote would apparently say "Lookit mah trucker hat!">

16 soon sat down and looked over Tsunami as well, <That is a very nice team you have, where are you going?>

Shaun: "...well then. Oh, we're just going for a walk. Can't stay cooped up inside all day."

Route 15

<It is very nice out. Lovely for Flying type watching. You also seem to be able to understand me. Are you in anyway tied to the J-Team or PEFE?> 16 asked, his eyes having a bit of a flash as the word "PEFE" came out.

Shaun: "Yeah, studied Monese. As for the J-Team and PEFE, I've run into them a few times and Ace is trying to join the latter."

Route 15

<Without proper thumbs your bird friend Ace may find it hard to work for PEFE. They really do need usable hands or paws that can hold things.>

Shaun: "We have...ways around that."

Route 15

16 tilted his head, <You are hiding something. It is obvious you are hiding something.>

Shaun: "What makes you say that?"

Route 15

<The Hesitation in your voice, the fact that your Starraptor is joining PEFE, the lack of hands he has. The evidence so far suggests you know a trick to get around this and you are hiding it from me.>

16 leaned forward, <Are you hiding a fun trick from me?>

Shaun: "We know a way to circumvent the whole not having hands thing. Though I'm not sure if I would call it a fun trick."

Route 15

<I would like to see the trick. When is the next prime opportunity to see the trick?>

-There's a pause.-

Shaun: "Hell if I know. Maybe when it does happen I could let you know?"

Route 15

<I would very much like that. It would be interesting to see this trick, and maybe see PEFE as well,> 16 said, sounding grateful.

Shaun: "Alright. You got a phone or something?"

Route 15

Shaun's phone beeped, <I have sent you my personal call number.>

16 stood up and walked off, <I wish to see the trick and see your magic bird.>

With that, the genesect was gone.

Shaun: "Bye?"

-Tsunami turns to face him.-

Tsunami: <You realize how bad of an idea this is? Showing a Genesect - which must work with some company or team - a transformation, assuming that even happens? Don't you also think he was a little to eager?>

Shaun: "He didn't attack us."

Tsunami: <Maybe they ordered him not to. Maybe they realized the strategic value of letting him seem trustworthy so he can attack when you least expect it.>

Shaun: "You're just paranoid."

Tsunami: <It was a Genesect. A fossil revived and modified cybernetically. And there were fifteen others. I don't recall Plasma being a good organization. I'm not paranoid. I'm savvy.>

Shaun: "Look, if he tries to kill us, you can say I told you so. I trust him."

-Tsunami glares at him.-

Tsunami: <Put me back in the ball.>

-Shaun realizes what he's done.-

Shaun: "Tsunami, wai-"

Tsunami: <Ball. Now.>

-Shaun reluctantly recalls her. Ace looks at him.-

Ace: <She has a point. Put me back, too. I'm going to talk to her.>

-Shaun says nothing and recalls Ace. Lightning looks at him. His face is set into a hard, stern look. He doesn't even look at her and keeps walking.-
