Mireille: -to Jonathan- ~Hm... say, what magnitude of energy are we even speaking off here?~

Johnathan could only say, "A lot, the problem is that it'd take forever for a team of psychics to hold it and they are still living things, so they have limits."

Mireille: -to Jonathan- ~This does sound like a problem. Hm... what is your current line of thinking regarding this problem?~

HG flew in, <we're working on extending the magnetic containment outwards, we're very close. We can feel it.>

"Whatever me good partner said, that's basically it."

-Shaun nods.-

Shaun: "That's good. Having one on your team will definitely help. And he is somewhat cute, which always helps."

The GM House

-Deziree dusts her hands off for a job well done. She'd finished up her pile of repairs for the week, custom fit a hovercycle's headlights to make the image of the Bat Symbol (Hey, she didn't judge how other people spent their money), and shipped Dune off to Mt. Battle like a teenager to summer camp. Over all, not a bad conclu-

*CRASH SMASH CRUNCH roinroinroinroin*

-Deziree winces. Great. What now?!-

-She heads into the garage to find her pile of scrap now a much less tidy pile of scrap and the entire garage around it littered with the aforementioned no-longer-really-a-pile of scrap. She also notices a great deal of feathers.-

-Deziree's brow furrows. Great. A bird.-

-After a moment, there's a commotion from the pile of scrap. Deziree sighs, rolls her eyes hard enough to make herself dizzy, and after rebalancing, walks over, grabs a handful of tailfeathers, and gives a good yank. A Farfetch'd wearing a pair of aviator goggles is produced, looking no worse for wear but quite a bit disoriented.-

Farfetch'd: <Wowzer! That was quite a landing!>

Deziree: A crash, more like it.

Farfetch'd: <A landing. It's only a crash if you can't walk away from it.>

-Deziree holds the bird up to meet eye-to-eye.-

Deziree: Why. Did you crash. In my garage?

-The Farfetch'd balks back and gives a shrug of attempted innocence.-

Farfetch'd: <I, uh, might have not accounted for an updraft? I might also have been dodging a cliff face.>

Deziree: ... You... had to dodge the cliff.

Farfetch'd: <Hey, it came outta nowhere!>

Deziree: It's a clear day!

Farfetch'd: <Not when you hit a sand dune and kick up a cloud of dust!>

Deziree: Why did you-

-She stops, pinches the bridge of her nose, and takes a deep breath.-

Mireille: <Ah, I see, I imagine Steel and Electro Pokémon are a great help in that regard.>

-Saitama chuckles in response-

Ruby: <Are you enjoying the garden as well?>

Hazard: <Def. It's pretty nice.>

Kaisei: "Yeah, plus it does seem pretty Kanto-influenced..."

Shaun: "Yeah. I've never been there, but apparently a lot of people and Pokémom came from Kanto, hence the architechture here as well as the Kantonian Alolan forms."

Saitama: <Yup!>

Kaisei: "Yeah, I heard about that too."

Shaun: "Yeah, it's kinda cool. Ace brought up a good point about that, though. Some Mons, like Vulpixes and Ratattas, have different lines here. Other Mons, like Cubones and Pikachus, evolve differently in Alola. We have a few theories, but there's no real way to test them. Besides, we're just a couple of guys who like science, though Ace's love of it is more profound than mine. What shot do we have against the Aether Foundation and actual proper scientists?"

Kaisei: "Eh, fair. Though, doesn't mean you can't go further with it. I know there's a group of scientists here in the J-Team that are willing to accept members."

Shaun: "Really? I'll have to tell Ace. You aren't in it, are you?"

Kaisei: "I'm not, no. I do know Tagg is, though. And the trainer of a Banette I met in the library."

Shaun: "A Banette, huh? I know Maggie's in it as well, and I think that Phaz guy's in it too."

Kaisei: Oh, yeah, I think he said her name's Maggie. Not sure about a Phaz, though. I admit I haven't met them, though, so maybe?"

Shaun: "He might not be; I barely know him. Same with Maggie. Sergey's part of it, but he says he doesn't really do anything."

Malie City

Embry is blasted out by the jet of water!

Embry: <Nuuuuuuh!>

Embry is K.O.!

Phaz: Don't worry Embry, you did well too.

He takes back Takumi as a Gardevoir steps on the battlefield.

Phaz: You're the last one Cynthia! I count on you! Use Moonblast!

Cynthia: ~On it!~

-Cynthia shoots a blast of pink light at the opponent.-

Kaisei: "Ahh. Well, yeah, just ask someone in it and they'll give you more info."

Malie City

-The Moonblast hits Hadilla square in the face-

Hadilla: <HAH! I DIDN'T EVEN- oh there goes my vision.>

-Hadilla falls over, knocked out. Ahe recalls Hadilla-

Ahe: Let's go-

-Before Ahe can finish, a Pelipper bursts out onto the battlefield screaming a challenge. It begins to rain-

Ahe: Alright, then. Arashi, use Hurricane!

Shaun: "Yeah, I might."

Ruby: <Shaun, there is a tea shop in the garden. Shall we go?>

Shaun: "Sure. You guys wanna come, or...?"
