Forte: So if the info is good, the Flareon and Leafeon people should be at the hotels around here... Which one is Tide Song and which one is Hano Grand Resort?

Shadow: <There's a sign up ahead that says "Hano Grand Resort". Can I put the map down now?>

-Forte is then bowled over by a random middle-aged woman crashing into them-

As Forte continues on to the resort, they might notice people huddled together all over the plaza. Multiple emergency services vehicles are parked throughout the area, and the accompanying emergency service workers are out and about, offering space blankets to those in shock, and seeing to any injuries.

It's a grim sight.

At the center of it all stands a woman with Alice blue hair, in a golfing outfit, with an impassive look on her face.

-the woman who crashed into Forte has already run off-

Forte: What happened here? Looks like a big disaster area.

-Shadow sniffs the air-

Shadow: <I can't tell, but I sense a lot of fear all around us. It's unsettling, to say the least.>

-they then notice the golfing woman-

She turns, then notices Forte.

Kahili: There was some sort of attack on my father's resort last night. Apparently, everyone within suffered from terrible nightmares and hallucinations. An investigation is to be launched shortly, once we're sure everyone's alright.

She gives a tiny sigh, as if this is the biggest emotional tell she allows herself.

Kahili: As alright as they can be, at least.

-Forte blinks-

Forte: Wow. Glad I wasn't here yesterday.

Shadow: <Isn't that the truth.>

She points to the Darkrai statue, now surrounded by a square of police caution tape.

Kahili: As for Linnea, I do know her. Luckily enough, she's out on a modeling job right now - I have no idea when she'll be staying with us again, but even if I did, our privacy policy means I couldn't tell you. I am sorry.

Forte: Uh, okay. I'm glad she wasn't hurt though.

-Forte looks around, and notices the Darkrai-

Kahili: That is the question at hand, yes.

She pulls out a tablet and starts tapping away at it.

Kahili: According to this security cam footage, it was dropped off two days ago by some workers in nonspecific uniforms. Checking the paperwork, it seems that it was approved due to a glitch - or, post incident, a hack - in our computer systems. Its listed as "promotional material for an upcoming movie." I'll have to interview the staff member who signed off on it.

Meanwhile, the cop blinks.

Cop Copman: Uhm... well, last night the Resort suffered some sort of attack from what we believe to be some kind of either biological or chemical weapon. People reported nightmares and intense hallucinations. That is all we're at liberty to release at this time.
