-Ren is having breakfast as he reads the news on his tablet, but a certain headline gives him a brief pause.-The illness, which has no official name yet, strikes suddenly and indiscriminately. "There is no common thread between the patients. Livelihood, age, race, gender - nothing to point at a cause. Even some Pokemon are being affected," said one Sinn doctor who has asked for his name to be withheld. And a Kalosian doctor, who has also asked for anonymity, said, "And with no apparent cause, we can't properly treat those that are afflicted. All we can do is use the resources we have at our disposal to make sure our patients' are as comfortable as possible as we observe them."
With unconfirmed reports still coming in from almost every region, the medical community, the world, and especially the families and loved ones of those afflicted wait with baited breath in hopes that there will be a breakthrough development.

Not even half a minute later, Gamma starts projecting images of news articles and footage of news casts in various languages from cities all over the world.-
Gamma: Analysis complete. The veracity of the claims made in the article in question have been confirmed to be factual. Further, another 30 cases of the illness have confirmed since the time indicated in the article.
Ren: Is it Glitches?
Gamma: Insufficient data. Too many variables.
Ren: Joy. Gamma, keep an eye on that story for me and alert me if there is anything that can be considered as a definite link to a Glitch.
Gamma: Affirmative.
Kitsune: <You aren't going to message the others?>
Ren: -shaking his head- No. There is no need to raise an alarm when there is no definite proof. In all likelihood, others will see the reports as well in time. And with no direct connection to anything to point at Glitches - or any other party for that matter - there is really nothing to do but wait for some sort of evidence to arise.
-Ren's Holo-caster beeps with an alert from the bed-side table.-
Ren: What now?
-Rio hands Ren his Holo-caster. Ren reads the message and snorts.-
Ren: I guess this is a money-saving option... Although it could be considered poor taste considering the event in question.
