-Balthazar leads a charge forward, turning the tide for an instant, before the enemy regroups.-

Balthazar: "The witch! Slay her and we shall win the day!"

-Balthazar looks around. There is no sign of the witch, or where she may have gone.

Balthazar: "Fafnir, to me!"

-A massive armored Salamence descends from the sky, bathing the enemy in blackish-red flame.-

Fafnir: <These infidels will be purged!>

-With the enemy army now demoralized, because big-ass dragon, Balthazar and his knights seize the initiative to push the enemy back to the breach in the wall.-

Balthazar: "Ruric, with me. We ride in search of the witch! The rest of you - Hold the line here. This fortress will not fall to these infidels!"

Ruric: "We ride, my lord!"

-Balthazar and Ruric climb on to Fafnir, who takes off, flying low over the enemy army, breathing fire where he can to destroy siege engines.-

Balthazar: "There! The witch!"

Fafnir: <She shall burn!>

-Fafnir dives towards the witch. She turns to the sky, and twists her hand, causing a black beam to shoot out at Fafnir,-

Fafnir: <GRAHHH!>

-He is hit directly in the heart, and plummets out of the sky, crashing through the enemy's lines, coming to a stop a few meters away from the witch.-

Balthazar: "You will pay for that, witch!"

-He jumps off of Fafnir and slashes at her with his sword, which she deftly parries with her staff.-

Witch: "Ah, Markgraf von Raukov. Can't we just come to an agreement?"

Balthazar: "There can be no agreement with you, witch."

Witch: "Tee hee hee. Then I suppose you shall enjoy fighting your friend, there, now won't you?"

-She extends a hand, and black tendrils reach out and encircle Ruric. Two of them drive themselves into his head, and his eyes turn black.-

Ruric: "As.... you... command... NO! I. WILL. NOT... GRRAHH!" -the tendrils drive themselves deeper, and he collapses to the ground.-

Balthazar: "You shall pay for this!" -He slashes at her, but, in the blink of an eye, Ruric is dragged, and, fighting his own body, deftly parries Balthazar's sword.-

Balthazar: <I must go to [Germany.]>

Dunyazade: ~What?~

Balthazar: <I... cannot explain. It is as if some force is pulling me there. Not literally, of course, that would be absurd.>

Dunyazade: ~I see you've been reading.~

Balthazar: <Physcial prowess is but one measure of one's worth, meine Frau.>

Dunyazade: ~And Knowing Is Half the Battle.~

-Balthazar gives Dunyazade a quizzical look, but does not pry further.-

-Scheherezade walks in.-

Scheherezade: -hands Balthazar a plane ticket.- "Here. Take Robin with you."

"Sir" Robin: <Why me?>

Scheherezade: "It'll be good for you."

"Sir" Robin: <Gulp.>

Balthazar: <Hah! You'll man up after I'm through with you!>

"Sir" Robin: <I'm female.>

Gardenia quickly peeks out the backroom door and then turns back to Ark worriedly.

Zachary: "Anyhow, what have you been doing recently, you seem like you've been through a lot...I mean, you don't have to answer if it's too personal or something"

Meanwhile, underneath the lake...

Ghiaccio: <I swear I bumped into something invisible over here, Don-Don! Mabye like a secret wall? I don't know but it's not here anymore and that's kinda scaring me!>

Donald: <I'm not trying to judge you, Lady Ghiaccio, but I bet you must've bumped into a rock and forgot or maybe you just weren't seeing right? I seriously cannot find any reason why there would be an "invisible wall" in this lake>

Ghiaccio: <Whaaaaaaaat? Don't you know? There's a powerful psychic Legendary Pokémon in this lake...Maybe it's that Pokémon who's doing this!>

Donald: <Interesting hypothesis, but why would the Legendary Pokémon of Lake Verity just come out to mess with some random strangers' Pokémon?>

Ghiaccio: <Hmmm....*GASP* What if...that guy we met, Jacob....IS THE CHOSEN ONE!>

CU - Burning Pyrite

-The Myrmidon has its ability swapped out, and glares angrily at Abe no Seimei-

-Seigfried's Rock Smash slams into it, causing it to skid back, it roars and holds its sword out in front of it with both hands, before carving with a single large slash that somehow splits off into a storm of multiple smaller slashes-

-These plink off Shiva with relatively minimal damage, but the sheer number of them still causes the Persona to stagger-

Jubilife Magnet Train Station

Jacob: -He nods, still atop Argentum, not fully recovered from his battle some time ago- "Indeed. Any idea how to go about this?"

Jacob: -He nods to Ren in greeting- "While that'll help minimize exposure, I don't know exactly how magnet train goers work. If it's like a normal train people will have pre-purchased tickets and buying out the train won't help then. If it's like a subway car, it'll be more helpful, I assume, since we can just keep people out. Or bribe people. Either or."

-He thinks again- "Though, just buying the whole train might break the bank a bit, but it'd certainly help account for any potential collateral. Better that than having multiple claims of property damage levied against us."

-The taps his chin- "Or I could just have Regina float me everywhere. We have a few options at our disposal."

People who are watching will see the ticket master's laugh as if he heard a joke, then the laughing expression get stuck as Ren hands him the card, then his jaw slacken before he hands the card back to Ren, and then watch slack-jawed and wide-eyed as Ren heads back to the group.-

Ren: All but 78 seats on the train are ours.

-Ren holds up an official document and starts handing out tickets to the others that have assembled.-

Jacob: -He nods- "Hopefully we didn't delay any vitally important business, such as a family emergency or such. Granted, we're about to go end an eldritch abomination. They'd be thanking us anyhow."

-He thinks for a moment- "Okay, so how do we want to do this? There are still some people on the train, but it'll mostly be empty. I could hold attention at the front, or I could just tag along with the group to the back. I'm fine going where I'm needed."
