Gardenia: "I like your determination, challenger! Very well then, since you only have one Badge I shall use my Badge Two team!"

Gardenia claps her hands as a group of gardeners clear out a space for the two to fight, Gardenia walks to the other end of the arena and gets out a small box with PokéBalls, she grabs 3 and puts them in her pouch before standing up.

Gardenia: "Let the battle commence! Go, Turtwig!"

Gardenia throws a PokéBall in the air out of which a Turtwig comes out, leaving a trail of multicoloured flowers as it falls before landing on the ground.

Gardenia: "Whenever you're ready, send out your first Pokémon!"

Phaz: Oh, but she's already out. Cynthia, use Confusion!

Cynthia: ~Alright!~

-The Gardevoir proceeds to fix the Turtwig, her eyes and chest spike glowing.-

Phaz: Nice Pokeball effects by the way.

Cynthia's psychic powers damage the Turtwig to the point where it barely manages to hold on, but it's still standing.

Gardenia: "Wow, that was a powerful attack! But now that I know your true strenght, I won't hold back either! I shall show you the true power of the majestic Grass type!"

Gardenia: "C'mon, Turtwie, set up a Sunny Day!"

The Turtwig creates a small red orb of fire in front of its mouth and it roars ferociously as it looks up into the ceiling, causing the orb of fire to fly to the top of the arena while growing exponentially, to the point of looking like a sun and raining down strong sunrays. It then looks back at its opponent waiting for their next move.

Gardenia: "Oh and thanks for complimenting my Seal effects by the way! Ball Capsules are so cool, aren't they?"

Phaz: Oh, so they are called like this? I've never seen them in Hoenn before, 'cept for one or two Unovan movies.

Cynthia: ~Hey, battle.~

Phaz: Right, sorry. Use Misty Terrain please.

Cynthia: ~Right-o!~

-pink-colored mist seems to form out of thin air, covering the floor and Phaz's side.-

Siobhan: "Why did I do this and not fly..."

Barioth: ~Remember last time?~

-Ominous lightning strike. Did I say rainstorm? Sorry, it's a thunderstorm.-

Siobhan: "Did anyone else see that silhouette?"

Barioth: ~Looked like a large Dratini or Dragonair to me.~

Siobhan: "Really? Looked like a Gyarados to me..."

Barioth: ~Gyarados don't fly.~

Siobhan: "Uh, yes they do."

Barioth: ~Oh wait...~

-More ominous lightning.-

Siobhan: "Is this really smart?"

Barioth: ~We're closer to the observatory than the base, so...~

Siobhan: "Fair enough."

-Suddenly, mist. Mist everywhere. Thick mist.-

Siobhan: "This is something straight out of a horror movie."

Barioth: ~Indeed.~

-vaguely pokemon- or human-shaped figures can be seen moving in the mist, along with some sort of tall, lithe, hunched-over figures.-

Siobhan: "Yep, horror movie. Or Pandaria."

-...wrong game.-

-Shut up Narrator, it's the easiest thing I could find. If you want something different, stop paying me and go find it yourself.-

-We don't pay you.-

-EXACTLY!-

-sigh.-

Dihrao: <Eep!>

Sarah: Grab him!

-The Nidoking is hit hard by the Dragon Rush, and grabs onto Gogmazios-

Sarah: Ice Punch!

-He takes one hand off and ices it over before swinging his fist in an uppercut-

-The Delibird is wandering around again-

-Gogmazios takes the Ice Punch to the gut, and takes the close-range opportunity to use Dragon Breath in Dihrao's face.-

-Dihrao gets a Dragon Breath to the face, and stumbles back, taking damage and spending the next few seconds sputtering-

Dihrao: <Ack! I'm going to taste that for days, ugh...>

Sarah: Try an Ice Beam!

Dihrao: <Not as effective as a mint, but okay...>

-He fires a beam of coldness from his mouth-

==Eterna City Gym (Present)==

As the area is covered in a deep pink mist, Turtwig unsurely looks back to Gardenia, who nods confidently before the Turtwig looks back at the Gardevoir with determination in its eyes.

Gardenia: "Turtwie, go for a Razor Leaf!"

Turtwig shakes its head around as the small twig in its head glows green and starts firing a multitude of very sharp leaves at a high speed towards Cynthia.

CU, Daydre's Dungeon

As Ren and Mendel enter the dungeon, they'll notice that the surroundings are covered in a thick fog, making it almost impossible to see. From the sounds Ren's feet are (presumably) making on the ground, it seems the floor is tiled.

Daydre is nowhere to be seen.

-Ren and Mendel are wearing their anti-Fog lenses.-

Ren: -tapping his foot on the floor- Tile. Now where is Daydre?

-Ren turns to Silent as he enters and nods to the PEFE scientist- Just us, fortunately.

Mendel: -to Silent- Thank you for joining us Professor.

-Mendel begins preliminary scans.-

Snowpoint Center

-Ren is in a large meeting room with Kitsune, Rio, and a few of their teammates; Baleno, Brun, Seamstress, Vincent, and Zanna. Waiting for Dune to bring Ludmilla and Doomsday.-

-Ren has laid out a table with various tools and items that are covered on the trainer's license exam.-

CU, Daydre's Dungeon

There doesn't seem to be any shadows or other interesting things of the sort around. Mendel might be able to tell that they're standing in the middle of a hallway. Behind them is a dead end, so looks like the only way to go is forward.

Mendel: -to Silent- I 've been working on few projects And I've also a out translators approved for a industrial patent. By this time next year, PEFE will have their own monese translator devices.-

-Mendel moves Pythagoras forward and finds that unlike that several dungeons he can actually move farther into the dungeon of his own accord, but he frowns.-

Mendel:I think this fog is messing with Pathagoras' scanning and support abilities. We can map things out, but the range is fairly short. Still, there's only one way to go...

-Pythagoras points down the hall.-

Ren: -Ren nods a Cu Sith, while speak to the group at large- So rather than keeping you away from us, Daydre's Shadow is suppressing you. Great.

-Ren heads the direction Mendel points.-

-Sarah chuckles-

Sarah: That's convenient, at least for us. Aim another one!

Dihrao: <These aren't exactly friendly conditions for me, either, you know.>

-He aims an Ice Beam in the direction Gogmazios is flying-

CU, Daydre's Dungeon

As anticipated, there's no way to go but forward.

As the group heads on, the fog clears out a little and makes the surroundings more visible. While visibility is much better, the fog is still there.. Like a filter over everything... Anyway, now that they can all see better, they might notice that the walls of the hallway are not walls, but very tall bookshelves. There is no ceiling, so beyond the shelves an overcast sky is visible.

The hallway extends about another 100 yards, before further view is obstructed by fog.

-While Gogmazios can't see, he manages to blindly lurch mostly out of the way of the Ice beam, which clips him in the back. Looking rather injured and cold, and able to see again, he retaliates with a Dragon Rush.- -Siobhan and Barioth are moving rather slowly though the mist by now.-

Siobhan: "Y'know, I can't see the edge anymore. Not because of the fog, but because I think it ceased to exist."

Barioth: ~Nope, definitely still there, just a ways away now.~

Siobhan: "Right, that's mildly comforting."

Barioth: ~Well, it at least means we won't accidentally stumble off of it.~

Siobhan: "True. But it also means we're lost. And still in the middle of a lightning storm."

Barioth: ~Granted.~

-About then, the pair stumbles upon one of the hunched-over figures.-

-It stares at them with one, unblinking eye, mist almost rolling off of its figure, any other details lost therein. Occasional sparks of glitch energy can be seen within the mist, however.-

Siobhan: "Definitely Pandaria, with a side of glitches."

-The creature releases a crooning howl, and other shapes start shambling towards the duo.-

Siobhan: "Oh, fuck."

-Cynthia receives the full blow of the Razor Leaves.-

Cynthia: ~Nnngh!~

Phaz: You okay?

Cynthia: ~Just some scratches... What next?~

Phaz: ...Use Draining Kiss!

-Cynthia gives a small kiss in the air, that starts floating towards the Turtwig.-

==Eterna City Gym (Present)==

The Turtwig attempts to jump out of the way but is hit by the Draining Kiss, which leaves a mark on its face out of which smaller hearts come out of and head towards the Gardevoir to refill her health, right after the Turtwig faints on the spot and Gardenia recalls it.

Gardenia: "You did your job well, Turtwie, you did your job very well"

Gardenia then looks above at the artificial sun, knowing that soon it will fade out, as she puts Turtwig's PokéBall in her pouch and then calls out a Cherrim, who starts in its Overcast Form before shaking and opening itself to reveal its energetic Sunshine Form as its speed and Special Attack are increased.

Gardenia: "I guess now you know why I made Turtwie set up a Sunny Day, however, that sun will fade soon...so I guess i'll just have to make the best of it now! Cherrim, Grass Knot!"

Cherrim, while jumping around energetically, starts chanting as its eyes glow light green and a bunch of grass bursts out of the ground below Cynthia, wanting to tie her legs and slam her into the ground.

Snowpoint Center, yesterday

-Dune and Ludmilla arrive, the latter with her Happiny and the former with a book.-

Dune: Hey, Ren. Sorry we're late, I had to write up a report.

Ludmilla: Allo.

Doomsday: *Increasingly hostile glare*

going dark for a few hours. Wiil try to post from phone.

CU, The Library, Past

-Ren lets out a sound that is somewhere between a chuckle and a sigh-

Ren: A giant library... Right. -swinging his cane to summon Abe no Seimei- Remember to count the shadows.

Snowpoint Center, Conference room, Yesterday

-Ren straightens up and nods politely. Baleno waves at Ludmilla from atop a table next to Brun and Vincent, who give a noisy greeting. Zanna waves a claw as Seamstress gives a polite curtsy. Rio gives a silent greeting from the wall where he's standing. Kitsune goes up to greet the three with Ren.-

Ren: Hello, Dune, Ludmilla, and... Sorry, has the Happiny been nicknamed, or...?

Kitsune: <Hello, Ludmilla. Ready for some lessons on proper care of pokemon?>

-Brun, Vincent, Seamstress, and Zanna all watch the scene with girl they've heard about with great curiosity.-

Phaz: Cynthia, watch-SBLOM-out...

Ludmilla: ~Okay.~

Snowpoint — Past

-Dihrao attempts to stumble out of the way, but is smacked with the Dragon Rush.-

Dihrao: <Owww... what I wouldn't give to be a Nidorino again, at least I was cute and small and able to not trip over myself...>

Sarah: We'll add that to the list of things we need to work on in training, then. Try a Blizzard!

-Dihrao grumbles, and the falling snow suddenly turns harsh as the wind blows toward Gogmazios-
