-Daydre steps out onto the route. She's wearing snow boots, a scarf, and winter jacket over her normal clothing.-

".. Haven't been here in a while. I think it's colder than I remember.."

-Daydre is followed by Mr. Bitey and Dolo, the offscreen-ly named Geodude.-

"You guys sure you're okay?"

Mr. Bitey: <-nods- Yup! The cold doesn't bother me anyway!>

Dolo: <This cold is nothing for my BURNING BLOOD>

"Do you even have blood..?"

-Dolo shrugs and the group continues on.-

-Outside, there is the odd sight of a group of Gabite wandering through the cold. They have various cybernetic enhancements, but they're all useless because they're covered from head to toe in layers upon layers of winter clothes.-

Gabite 1: <O-o-o-okay, w-who's genius i-idea was it t-t-to s-s-send us here?>

Gabite A: <Ridley. When in doubt, blame Ridley. According to one of the higher-ups, they wanted us to test some new equipment of some sort.>

Gabite I: <Yeah, it's that weird Aura Sense simulator thing. Sent us with seven of the things. Dunno why we had to test 'em out in the middle of a freaking blizzard, why not just use 'em with the old cloaking devices Rids made for us?>

Gabite 1: <Y-yeah, well, i-if things g-get too crazy, I-I'm b-bailing.>

-Meanwhile, inside, Sarah is getting ready to head back out. Skye, meanwhile, is curled up in multiple blankets, shivering.-

Siobhan: -sighs- "A pair of snowshoes would have been a good purchase, now that I think about it..."

"What? No.. Hopefully not, anyway.." She's almost as hungry for battle as Sylvie... What are Gabite doing up here anyway? Pretty sure they don't live up here.. They also don't usually wear winter clothing either.. Maybe we should follow them..

-If Tagg were to check, he would indeed notice a glitch-based aspect to their cybernetics. The Gabite, of course, are oblivious, mostly concerned with heading north toward Route 217 and beyond.-

-Sensing deeper-

Yeah, it's Glitchy alright, so it's definitely not Zrone, he hates Glitches.

The feel's kinda akin to that thing's corpse I sensed deep inside the Solaceon Ruins though...

-Heading for the door, Roc flying off his perch-

Since she's heading north anyway, Daydre decides to try tailing the Gabite.

"Okay, you two be quiet.. We're going to follow them."

Mr. Bitey: <Got it!>

Dolo: <WE ARE?>

"Shh!"

-Ren sighs and gulps down the rest of the tea the gives a sharp whistle. Kitsune and Bahamut appear at the window and Vincent and Rio zips to Ren's side Keys sticks his head out of Ren's pocket and Gamma separates from Ren's tablet.-

Ren: Then allow us to pave the way. Literally. -To the room at large as he ties his scarf and grabs his hat- I recommend skates or spiked boots.

-Ren heads outside and sends out Nix and Wendi.-

Ren: Freeze the snow so we can move on top of it.

-As Ren straps on some attachable cleats, Nix; Wendi; and Gamma unleash a synchronized Ice Beams freezing the snow enough so that the group can walk on top of it rather than trudge through it.-

-As the Gabite head into the seemingly endless snowstorm covering the new route, they start talking to each other.-

Gabite A: <Okay, it's getting hard to see here, let's try this out...>

-He puts a strange wire-covered helmet on, then fiddles with some switches on the side-

Gabite 1: <A-a-any l-luck?>

Gabite A: <Unfortunately, the boss didn't bother sending instruction manuals or anything, buuuuut...>

-He flips a switch, and the visor flickers on-

Gabite A: <Aha! There we go! Let's see...>

-He looks around-

Gabite A: <Okay, okay, looks like it's working properly— >

-He pauses as he notices the Auras of the incoming group-

Gabite i: <See something weird?>

Gabite A: <Yeah... there's a big old group coming our way.>

-He starts moving toward the group. Frantically, the other Gabite start struggling with their own helmets to try to get them working-

Gabite A: <Halt! Whoever you are, stop and state your purpose!>

Tex: If we need to move quietly...Bulldozer, transport maneuver.

-Bulldozer is deployed, and immediately folds his legs outward. He's floating about a foot off the ground. Tex recalls Ember and Scout, and climbs on Dozer's back-

Ren: -to Tagg- You know, trying diplomacy before opening fire might actually work if we try it?

-Ren stands up with his hands in the air, although Rio is next to him and Kitsune uses Sunny Day to clear the storm for a bit.-

Ren: -to the Gabite- We all are headed to Snowpoint City and we saw you all. We opted to follow you because, if I am honest, from where we come from, Gabite with cybernetic parts aren't a normal site.
