-Etran is bumped into by Sarah.-

Etran: S-sorry. I should have been paying attention.-

Sarah: Oof! Nonono it's not your fault, I wasn't looking where I was going!

-She sweatdrops-

Sarah: Sorry, I, uh, have been kinda out of it the last few days.

Psyche sweatdrops. ~My psychic powers only extend to about an inch past my skin, so if I'm not careful, a random sneeze will shower a table in glitter.~

Yo, I'm bored. Anyone up to being Maylene?

Veilstone

-Etran is quite visibly nervous-

Etran: Y-yeah, I understand. Um, Siku.

-Etran calls out Siku, his Walrein-

Siku: <Buddy!>

-Etran stops shaking-

Etran: Sorry. I get nervous around people, and when that happens, having Siku around helps me get over it.

Veilstone

Skye: ...I see. Uh, wanna just take the risk and hope you don't sneeze or something?

-Sarah nods and takes a step back to give Etran some space-

Sarah: Understandable, you're not the first person I've met who's gotten nervous around people. Any way I could help make it up t you for bumping into you and freaking you out?

Psyche nods. ~Every little bit of food is kinda important.~

Veilstone

Etran: Um, you don't need to make up for anything.

Siku: <Ooh, we can battle her, Buddy! Or get directions to Pastoria! Or have her buy me seafood!>

-Etran cannot understand Siku.-

-Skye squeaks as she pulls her along toward the restaurant she'd had in mind-

-Sarah opens her mouth to say something, but pauses to rethink how to say it.-

Sarah: If you say so. Your Walrein seems to want to battle, though. Among other things.

Etran: Really, Siku? You want to battle? We just finished training for the day. Wait a minute.

-Etran turns to Sarah.-

Etran: I'm sorry. I don't really feel like battling right now. But... Where did you learn to understand Pokemon? I mean, I have met other people that can, but I'm still curious. I'm Etran, by the way.

Sarah: Okay, phew, I don't have to be subtle about that. It's, uh, a long, confusing story involving a trip through the multiverse. I wish that was the weirdest thing I've been through.

-She awkwardly rubs her neck-

Sarah: Anyway, I'm Sarah, nice to meet you.

Veilstone

Etran: You too. That sounds quite strange. I think I'll refrain from asking more questions.

Siku: <Sounds awesome, though!>

Sarah: Well, you said you were training, right? For anything in particular?

Veilstone

-Dune and Deziree are walking down the street. Dune has a very large bottle of water in his hand, with ice jangling around inside of it.-

Dune: And so, the guy took a piece of toast, covered one side with jelly, threw it up into the air, and when it came down jelly-side down, he determined that Giratina was near.

-Deziree breaks out laughing.-

Deziree: Wh-h-h-hat?

Dune: I don't know! It's a Shyamalan movie! What did you expect?

Deziree: I dunno! A clock going in reverse, unnatural fog...

Dune: Dezi, this is a Shyamalan movie! You remember the Air-

Deziree: Okay, okay, yes, I get it! Just please don't bring that movie up again!

Etran: Um, yeah. I'm challenging the gyms in Sinnoh.Since I collected all the badges in Hoenn, I thought I'd go somewhere new. In fact we just got badge number five.

Sarah: Oh, nice. I guess that means you'll be headed to face Wake in Pastoria next? Your Walrein did mention Pastoria.

Veilstone

Etran: Um, yeah. Soon we'll leave this place and head down there. What about you? What are you doing in Veilstone?

Veilstone City

Sarah: Well, there was a little bit of trouble with one of my friends that I came and helped out with, but since then...

-She rubs her neck awkwardly again-

Sarah: Honestly, I haven't really had any reason to stay, I just haven't headed anywhere else yet. I've been kinda... out of it lately.

Etran: Ah. I haven't left yet either, despite already winning my badge.

-Siku looks at Sarah-

Siku: < Excuse me, but with all of the strange stuff you mentioned, do you know about the glitches that have been showing up?>

CU, Theater

-As the Drain moves towards her, Yurlungur dives to intercept and is drained instead. Dezi is winded nonetheless, but at least Yurlungur's only move drained was Gastro Acid.-

-Dune taps his temple, trying to figure out something.-

Dune: ... Seiten. Can monkey do what monkey sees?

Seiten: That's racist.

...

Seiten: But yes.

Dune: Okay then, Role Play!

-The Shadow may notice that Seiten is beginning to mimic his body language - perhaps a little too well.-

Seiten: This is a stage, after all.

CU - CoR

-Verax is hurled off to the side and grunts- "... I don't know what I expected."

-Take-Mikazuchi shrugs and hurls a storm of clubs at the horse-

CU - Theatre

-Take-Mikazuchi moves to intercept the blast, and is immediately dispelled by the drain of energy-

-Verax crumples to his knees- "You know... I'm really starting to not like this place..."

Sarah: The glitches are the only reason I'm here in Sinnoh in the first place, honestly. I put my training on hold for a while to help out with them. But... I haven't been around where they've struck most of the time.
