Vierr: It certainly looks the part, at least. Does it have an "official" name that you know of, or is it a "lost to the ages" deal?

Æther: You really have no sense of humor, do you?
His Majesty's not been himself since he lost his sister. It was so... tragic. So I thought to myself, how could I console him? And I thought hearing her voice was just what he needed to cheer up!
Makes a lot of sense, doesn't it?

-A bolt of lightning suddenly zaps the desk in front of a receptionist, moving erratically.-
Receptionist:Kya!
-When it moves away, there's a message-
-The woman headtilts, looks up, and is honestly shocked to see what equates to a sled made of melting ice, pulled by a Durant, carrying a young man that's missing his left arm from the shoulder down.-
-Bzzzzt-
Receptionist:Well...

But there's another reason I'm doing this. Want to find out what it is?

No one I've ever met, living or dead appears to know its name even in their oldest legends, so I suspect it has to be more than 2,000 years old at least. I suspect going by the reliefs that some predecessor to the Aura Guardians might've built this place, but nothing concrete.

Jastis: -He gets up and dusts himself off- "Well! I have no idea how to get to Jubilife but I assume you good fellows will be escorting us?"

Æther: Wonderful!
Y'see, life is just like a prison. A prison without any exit. And there are a lot of different people in that prison. We have the first group. They're the ones who don't realize they're in a cage, who manage to live their whole lives in blissful ignorance. And then there are the others, the ones who know the bars are there. And among them, there's a second group, the ones who desperately cling to delusions that they might one day be able to escape. And yet the other, third group, knows that death's their only way out. And me? I'm content in showing the people in the first group the bars, let them see that life is hell. And I help people in the second group come to their senses, show them that escape's impossible. It's all great fun.
I wonder which group that one might be in now.

Æther: Ignore my drivel. The fact of the matter is, Zachary Motte is not leaving this building alive.
-He pulls out a revolver and loads it.-
I'm just waiting to see who will make that happen. Me... or him.

Vierr: You know, I've been meaning to ask about them. The Aura Guardians, I mean. I know some stories, they used a part of the Holon Ruins for one reason or another, but outside of that... I don't know much. You seem like you'd know way more.

Æther: He's been keeping himself alive all this time with the possibility his sister's still alive. Look. Face it. She's not.
And judging by his silence, I think he finally gets that. What'll he do now, I wonder?

Not much I can say that you probably haven't heard before. While their exact origins have been lost to time, the Aura Guardians used to be a lot more numerous centuries ago, with their monasteries dotting all the regions from here to Kalos and Unova. They'd go around righting wrongs and keeping great powers in check and stuff like that.
