Audra: <I'll acompany you, Kiaran can take a break and socialize for a while.>

Kiaran: <I don't need to do that!>

Ark: <She has a point, you only really talk to me and Audra. Sorry big brother, but if I'm having to make friends, then you will suffer with me.>

-With that, Ark and Audra wander off to find the Pokemart. Kiaran looks longingly after them as Verigan wraps a ribbon around his shoulder.-

Verigan: <Do not worry Guardian of the Huntress, I already consider thee a fere of mine!>

Ralli: <I guess.>

Barclay: <I am just going to continue talking to lady Ashley now. So, I hope your rest was a excellent one.>

Cynthia: <Lil' Rock got a point here. You should be more open with the others... Look at Ark, first time i saw her i didn't feel much happiness in her, but now she seems happier.>

Barclay: <Very well, thanks for asking, Ark only jolted awake twice last night. Ark has been getting slightly better around technology as of late. I must thank you and your companions for being a positive influence on the girl.>

-As Barclay talked to Ashley, the rest of the group continued hassling Kiaran. Kiaran opened his mouth to make protests against teh statesments, but at Cynthia's last one, he shut it. A few moments passed before he spoke again.-

Kiaran: <I.... guess... yeah it was pretty lonely, but I don't regret any decisions I've made. Erm... it's... been a long time since I've had anything resembling a friend. It's only been since i've found Ark again that I've really stayed around long enough to have small talk.>

Ralli: <I'm pretty sure I'm stuck with youse guys now. So there'll be plenty a' time fer small talk.>

Verigan: <Indeed! You art our comrade!>

-While the two were cheering Kiaran up, Ekundayo twiddled several of her nubs together and pointed out an oddity in Kiaran's choice of words.-

Ekundayo: <Um... Kiaran... what do you mean by found again?>

Kiaran: <....Ah...ha....nothing?>

-Meanwhile at the Pokemart-

-The cashier was sweating as the strange girl made her way to the front of the line. An antidote and 10 Pokeballs were dumped on the counter.-

Cashier: That will be 2100, ma'm.

-Ark shrugs and pulls out an worn accessory case, and pulled out a handful of money out of it. Audra occasionally piped in to make sure Ark got the amount right. Once she handed it over, the Cashier set out the complimentary 10 Pokeball purchase special of a premier ball.-

Cashier: Now just let me bag thi-

-Ark swept up her purchase into her waiting backpack. She looked over at the cashier and gave a curt-

Ark: It's fine.

-before speed walking out of the store.-

Audra: <See? I told you I knew what I was doing when I said to get 10 instead of 6 Pokeballs?>

Ark: <We're broke now. Only 400 left.>

Audra: <Not for long, you'll probably beat down some unfortunate sap in a battle any day now. Speaking of which, why did you tackle that guy to the ground when he attempted to cut in line?>

-Ark looked at Audra like she said something stupid.-

Ark: <And let that idiot get sent to 'there' by invoking the wrath of the Ghost King?! I don't want to be anywhere near that carnage! That is an exile worthy offense!>

-Audra simply gave Ark an curious look before humming to herself in thought.-

Audra: <Hm... if you say so.>

Somewhere in the Sinnoh wilds, in a forest.

-Scheherezade and Dunyazade find themselves lost in the woods.-

Scheherezade: Can't you just teleport us out?

Dunyazade: Unfortunately not... That'd be nice.

Scheherezade: Hmpf.

Dunyazade: Hey, you're the one who thought there'd be something useful in here. Don't get us lost next time!

Scheherezade: -raising her voice- I got us lost? You were navigating!

Dunyazade: You were the one who-

-Not quite realizing it, the two have found themselves in a clearing with what looks like a Honedge stuck in the ground on the shore of a large pond.-

Honedge: <WHO DISTURBS THE PEACE OF THIS SANCTUM?>

-The Honedge, now with what looks like a spectral knight grasping it, the blue ribbon wrapped around their arm, is pointing at the pair-

Scheherezade: Huh?

Dunyzade: <Eek!>

Honedge: <YOU DISTURB THE PEACE OF THIS SANCTUM. BEGONE, INTRUDERS!> -the swordsman settles into a fighting stance-

Scheherezade: -raising hands above head in a nonthreatening manner- Ohkay.... backing away slowly...

Dunyazade: -glares at the Honedge.-

Scheherezade: Wait, wait wait wait, stop, no fighting. What.

Honedge: -lowers the sword, stays wary-

Dunyazade: -headtilt-

Scheherezade: What is a Honedge doing in Sinnoh? Never heard of a wild one outside of Kalos.

Dunyazade: That's... a good question. -stares intently at the Honedge.-

Honedge: <A good question, and a long tale.> -Sheathes the sword, at which point the specter fades slightly.- -The spectre nods, and removes his helmet.- <My name is Markgraf Balthazar von Raukov. I am... was a nobleman in the (Holy Roman Empire). A political enemy of mine used vile sorceries to bind my spirit to my sword. I have wandered the land ever since. I ended up here years ago, brought across the sea by a companion.>

Scheherezade: -quietly, to Dunyazade- Can that happen?

Dunyazade: I don't know... I'd have to ask a pokemon expert. Obscura could probably do something similar, as far as I know... Which, granted, isn't much.

Balthazar: -grabs what looks like an old pokeball off the ground- <He left me with this, that I never be subject to another's will without my consent.> -he bows his head, as if in prayer or remembrance.-

-About then, Scheherezade notices a gravestone off to the side.-

Scheherezade: -motioning towards it- Is that...

Balthazar: <Aye.>

Scheherezade: I'm sorry for your loss.

Balthazar: -nods- <I appreciate the sentiment, miene Dame.> -Stares across the water.- <May I humbly request a favor?>

Scheherezade: Go ahead...

Balthazar: <I have stood vigil over this place for many a year. I wish to travel the world, if you'll have me.>

Scheherezade: -glances to Dunyzade, who gives a shrug which suggests "I don't see why not."- I... suppose. It'd be an honor to be the travelling companion of a count.

Balthazar: -bowing- <Than I pledge my blade to you and yours, miene Dame.>

Lake Valor, last night

-Bobbing and weaving through tentacles and energy blasts-

Compared to Gardenia, this guy's a cakewalk.

-Using Aura Sense-

The cores are in the wings, that's gonna take some fancy maneuvers.

Draca: <Shall we?>

We shall.

-And so Draca flies up before diving down, managing to slice through the two left wings in one go-

Glich!Florbat: -Starts flying erratically-

Alright, now for the other two!

Draca: -Slices through the top wing with Dragon Claw-

Surprising, despite looking like a Florges partially it doesn't have a Fairy type, lucky for us. And now for the grand finale...

-As Draca goes for another dive, I summon a bladed Aura chain and use that to cleave off the last wing-

Glitch!Florbat: -Starts falling-

Now!

Draca: -Blasts it full on with a Draco Meteor, destroying it-

And that's that.

-We then fly off-

-Maggie is wondering about challenging the Gym-

-Hajime is wandering around-

-Enters the Pokémon Center, having not actually seen the news yet-

-Maggie notices Tagg-

Maggie: "Oh, hey, Tagg. Saw you beat that Glitch."

-Eterna Center

-Etran recognizes Tagg from the news, as well as the trainer who turned into a teddiursa. Etran immediately turns around, hoping to avoid human contact.-

Eggshell:< Gonna say hi?>

-Scheherezade and Dunyazade are back after a long while of wandering around somewhere else, now with a Honedge in tow.-

-Balthazar is indeed walking around as a shade, presumably producing some response between curiosity, confusion, and fear. Because, you know, Honedge and ghostly figure in full plate sans helm.-

Scheherezade: So, that was an experience

Dunyazade: Indeed.

Scheherezade: Uh, try again tomorrow?

Dunyazade: I think it'll be a long while before I can be convinced to ever step foot in that particular region of Sinn forest...

Balthazar: -amused look- <May I inquire as to why, mein Dame?>

Dunyazade: -stares intently at Balthazar with wild eyes, doing the Ancient Aliens meme motion.- Crazy crap.

-Dune and Balthazar continue chatting, mostly consisting of Dune instructing Balthazar in how not to act in the modern world.-

-Scheherezade notices Maggie, Etran, and Tagg-

Scheherezade: - walks over to the group- Oh, hey you guys.

Scheherezade: Well... -glancing towards Balthazar- Hypothetically, could someone use Obscura to rip someone's spirit out of their body and tie it to an item?

-Meanwhile, Dunyazade is explaining to Balthazar the amazing modern invention that is... The land-line phone. We haven't even got to cell-phones yet. Or cordless phones, even.-

Dunyazade: It... sends these tiny little particles through that cord to another one, which then relays what you said to the person at the other end.

Balthazar: <Through that... rope... thing?> -indicating the cord-

Dunyazade: Yes, the cord.

Balthazar: <I... see.> -Though, evidenced by his tone and expression, he does not.-
