Ren: I'm not going to pretend to be an expert, but I don't think these flames are exactly the strongest at the moment. The vamp may have been able to target others under proper circumstances, but I doubt my Inflame is a perfect spell at the moment.

-Ren turns as Jacob leaves smoking crater where some scenery was.-

There are exactly two items standing in ground zero of Jacob's blast. Tarnished Silvertongue, the legendary Guitar, and Sanguine Saguaro, the Legendary Cactus. Saguaro shimmers red with the ichor of the vampire queen, eager to drink more blood.

All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world.

If you're talking about distance, it depends on the individual strength of the teleporter. RP!Tagg's Xatu for instance is good enough at teleportation that he can easily teleport between locations as far away as Kanto and Unova without having to make mini jumps and can take large amounts of beings at once. Whereas at the other extreme some level 10 Abra or Natu probably can't teleport further away than the next town over at most, and only then I'd expect with strain, and couldn't take something all that big with them.

It was nice to get out of that city. As much as she enjoyed talking with that kid from before, Homura was never one for urban areas. Although, as long as she was here, she'd be finding herself there more often. Besides, she wasted her time, much more than she had originally wanted- the cold weather almost disappeared.

Veering off to Route 218 on the right, there was already an issue. Travelling along the wooden bridges, she was given a clear view of her next destination... from across a large body of water. Sighing heavily, she stuffed her hands back in her pockets, turning the other way around. Maybe it'd actually take longer to decide her plan of action.

Fishing her Pokeball out, she gave Kaen some air again. Glad to see the frigid weather disappearing, he flapped his wings alongside Homura, glancing back at the water behind them.

"We might just need another partner for this, Kaen..." She could use some more firepower, after all. It'd be hard to make it around with a singular focus on fire, after all. Trudging back into the vast city, her eyes were set on the north instead.

Psyche smiles. "Well given i can finally talk here without excruciating pain, I feel like most of the corruption is gone here. You all are just getting started i fear, however. Valentine was just one of my aspects that got corrupted."

She frowns. "I apologize for everything that's gonna face all of you if you continue this way. I would understand completely if you choose to leave. I can't guarantee any of y'alls safety in the next few dungeons. Hell, doing as much as i did this time hurt like someone took a jackhammer to my skull. I wish i could help more, but every bit of power makes... It stronger."

This city always seemed to feel different everytime she took a good look around.. and this time, a new sight caught her attention- a trainer with a Talonflame of his own! She was never one to start conversations, but ad long as her options were limited in this town, she might as well get to know some others.. Briskly walking over, Kaen seemed to take interest in the other Talonflame as well, hoping to make some conversation along his trainer.. Stopping at a respectable from this trainer in question, the more reserved, awkward side of her showed, as she tried to start this off..

"Hey, uh.. Nice.. Pokémon you got there."

Trainer: "Oh?"

"Oh yeah, she's nice."

-he notices Kaen-

"Oh, huh, you've got a Talonflame?"

Homura cracks a little smile, glad she started that off the right way. "I can tell- Kaen here is a bit picky with who he interacts with sometimes.. How long you known 'em for?"

Kaen shakes his head, not necessarily wanting to impose. No, nothing! Just trying to talk, really! ...I'm assuming you're travelling with your partner across the region, too?"

Maybe, for once, it'd be best for her to attach herself to a group, for a while. After finding out about this little hangup, she could use a bit of help. "Oh, really? That sounds pretty interesting, actually... where're you guys headed after this place? If it isn't just you, of course."

Kaen glances back at his owner, then back at this new Trainer. "Oh, so his name is Sholto, then? Homura here is pretty picky with her own partners- she always releases most of the Pokémon she catches.."

Sholto: "I'm... not sure. Some of us headed for Oreburgh, but not everyone did, so dunno if other people are going there."

"If not, we could be heading north."
