-Tomahawk squawks indignantly as the Hyper Voice disrupts his flight sending him crashing into a bush-

-Shinobi jumps in front of the young Bidoof and puts up a Protect-

Shinobi <Well change of plans, Scary Face and keep her busy!>

-After a few moments of struggling to get upright again the Rufflet flaps his way in front of the giant Bibarrel and makes his best war-like face in an attempt to slow her down-

Route 202, last night

-The Bidoof is protected by Shinobi-

Bidoof: <Uh, Th-thanks...>

-The essential Hyper Voice happens to knock Kokone and Pyrrha to pretty low health-

Pyrrha: <Ngh... I'm not giving up!>

-She launches another Ember at the vines-

-In addition to the action with the crit-strength jabs, the vines are now starting to wither-

-The Bibarel is additionally frightened and has her Speed lowered by the Scary Face-

Kokone: <Wait...>

-Kokone starts to Sing in an attempt to lull the Bibarel to sleep-

Bibarel: <Helen... you'll...>

-The Bibarel falls asleep-

-Maggie is starting to wake up when she gets a call-

-She picks it up-

-Hyp answers on the other end of the line-

-she hops off her bird and looks around-

Mezzo: Can't believe him. "Oh, let's go where it's snowy and I can play that stupid game all day long!" I swear if I heard one more thing about pylons, or minerals, or probes, or any of that crap, I was gonna kill someone.

Dreadwing: <So did you just take me out of the box so you could get a lift?>

Mezzo: More or less. Fortis is too busy worrying about green hair Fortis to actually let me borrow any of hers and besides, I think I need a break from family anyway.

PEFE - rugged module

-After exploring various parts of the PEFE complex this morning a swellow finds herself gliding along in one of more mountainous modules available for some time before settling on a rock on an incline-

Aero: Hmm, this place certainly is impressive, I suppose if we had to we could spend quite some time here

-She lifts a wing and thoughtfully straightens a few feathers before the rock shifts, causing her to chirp and hop off as it rolls back-

Golem: <Oy, whaddya think you're doing birdy?!>

Aero: <Oh! my->

Golem: <You think just because you can fly you can look down on mon like me?!>

Aero: <Actually->

Golem: <Well I'm a rock type, not some statue to be decorated by avian kind!>

Aero: <If you'd just-!>

-The bird chirps and takes a flapping hop out of the way as the Golem grabs a rock and throws it in her previous direction and bounces off another rock-type-

Geodude: <Ow, dude! Not cool!>

Golem: <Well you shoulda been paying more attention pipsqueak>

-The insulted Geodude curls up and rolls at the Golem, Aero hops back a few paces to get out of range of the two mon only to trip over a graveler as the Geodude impacts yet another sleeping rock type and starts bouncing off others like a rugged pinball. Suddenly the whole area breaks into a brawl before some other mon looses it's footing and starts tumbling down the slope, causing a small avalanche of rocks and mon to tumble down the slope and flinging Aero into a pile of berries-

Cladol: -!-

-Aero blinks for a moment-

Cladol: ~Seriously?! That was my lunch!~

Aero: <What?>

-She rolls to her feet, then glances down at the now mashed and scattered berries-

<O-oh! I'm terr->

Cladol: ~I've had it with tripping over you wandering J-team mons, if you're so intent on exploring, then go explore SOMEWHERE ELSE!~

-The ancient looking mon's many eyes glow for a moment before Aero is suddenly ~blipped~ away-

-And appears just high enough off the ground to beakplant before her flapping can do any good-

Okay, that felt kinda cool. I can see why the squad likes that tactic

-He gives the younger mon a reassuring smirk before turning his attention back to the potential battle. But with the Bibarrel asleep, and Chamo presumably removing what's left of the withered vines, if he can, Shinobi pulls a phone out to take a picture of the giant mon and vines before turning to the Kricktune-

<Good job, maybe she'll be a bit more reasonable once she wakes up.>

-Aero gets to her feet, again, and puffs out her feathers before shaking herself to get some of the dust out before looking around-

Aero: <I don't think I've been here before...>

-She chirps curiously at the sight of the armored thing, and head tilts for a moment before deciding to flap her way after it-

-The armored creature glances at the group following it. It's somewhat difficult to see, but a Dunsparce face can be seen behind the glowing visor. It shakes its head and turns away, headed into the cave.-

-Shortly after, a few pews echo through the cave-
