-Jacob is here, having signed up for the tournament.-

Verax: "Good enough for me."

Bridge Chase

Iggy:Kya!

-She's defiantly hit a few times.-

How is that faaaair!?!?

-She eventually reaches...a dead end.-

W...What? It...doesn't have an end?

Slateport Convention Center

-Has also signed up for the tournament-

Doc: <So why are we here again?>

-As we sit down-

There's a great reason for that Doc.

Doc: <That is?>

-Starts reclining-

I was bored.

Spoopy fish armor clangs up behind Iggy. The armor clad mon stares coldly for a few moments, before destroying the end of the bridge with spears, sending Iggy to the ground below.

Fort Dawnguard

-Isran was hard to convince, he'd seen images of the Bow in old stories and the idea of it simply becoming this... Divine crossbow was something he could not quite wrap his head around. But he accepted it, he was hungry to finally take the fight to the vampires and if that meant letting her take this weapon into battle so be it-

Bridge

Iggy:What, What're you d-

-She falls...and blacks out-

<Hey...are you ok? Can you stand?>

<Oh hey! You...seem to be alright...>

<...Chara? Your name is Chara? Mine's...>

-And she wakes once more...in a different spot...on a bed of golden flowers-

Announcer: Alright, ladies and gentlemen, for Round Two! Dark Blade Dane vs. The Southern Cross! Truly testing the limits of our weapon restrictions, Dark Blade Dane today will be using his own Auric powers, while the Southern Cross will be using a Jumonji Yari today - that's a cross-bladed spear, for all you out there!

-Dane's opponent walks up, a man with deeply tanned skin and a square chin.-

Southern Cross: Don't think I'll be going down like that fool from the first round.

-He gives his spear a lazy spin before making his stance ready.-

Referee: Ready?

-The Southern Cross nods.-

Referee: Ready?

Stands

Phosphora: Huh. I wonder how this'll go.

-A strange, tall man passes by Phosphora.-

???: The axe will beat the lance, unless the lanceman is truly as good as he says.

Phosphora: Huh. Wait, wha...

-She turns, and the mysterious man is already out of earshot.-

Phosphora: Hm...

Fort Dawnguard

-After her talk with Isran, Deziree comes back outside.-

Deziree: Well, I think the crossbow might have kinda thrown him for a loop, but we should be all set to end this.

Tourny Grounds

Dane:Heh, I'm ready as ever!

-He twirls the Blood Sword construct-

Bring it on, goon!

Good, once this is done I can stop having to monitor everything related to this...

-Pent shrugs and adjusts his backpack. After a few minutes where Isran is likely briefing his fellow hunters, the entire group begins filing out of the fort to begin their march towards the castle (which might get a little awkward considering there's only a single small boat between the docks and Castle Volkihar itself)-

Tourney Arena

Referee: Go!

-The Southern Cross starts by making a few testing jabs - predominantly aimed at his feet.-

Stands

Phosphora: I hope Dane knows what he's doing. That sword isn't very good when the enemy has range on him...

Fort Dawnguard

-Dune, Deziree, and Lumen follow the group, inevitably leading...-

Castle Volkihar

-... here.-

Deziree: It took a while to get everyone over here.

Dune: I should have brought Rill or Ajax to speed things up.

Deziree: You know Ajax and Rill both hate cold water.

Volkihar Island, Castle Exterior

-The air is chill and thick with argent fog, blurring the imposing shape of the castle ahead and above. No vampire has dared walk outside the doors of the castle to greet the invading force, instead they lay garrisoned within-

...Youknow, once all this is done... Might be nice to renovate this place...

Castle Volkihar

-Dune gives a slight shiver.-

Dune: You can have it. If I want a castle, it'll be someplace warmer.

Deziree: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw! But LOOK at it! All you need are some lightning rods and you've got "Frankenstein chic" down, pat!

Lumen: <May we focus on the task at hand?>

Dune: Right, right. Do we have plan on who's going in first? I mean, people could line up behind me. My sword's wide enough.

Tourny Grounds

-Dane takes a few swings to parry the jabs, ten rushes to close the distance by using his weight to trap the spear between him and Southern Cross.-

Dane:Tryin' to kneecap me or something? Come on, like I'd fall for that!

Sound strategy... I'll be in the shadows if you need me...

-Pent glances around-

You lot can handle yourselves with the grunts, right? >.>

Tourney Arena

Southern Cross: Heh, I figured it was worth a shot.

-The Cross pushes back just enough to smack Dane in the face with the butt of his spear. He uses what time he has to back up and make a sweep at Dane's legs.-

Castle Volkihar

-Lumen's voice gets deeper as he projects for all to hear. Deziree translates in her most verbose manner for those who can't understand the Larvesta.-

Lumen: <The suns rays will be with us! These creatures of the dark will have no dominion over us, whose wills illuminate the darkness of this world with the light of Sol!>

Dune: Right then. Onward!

-Dune pulls out the Eighth Wonder and rushes at the door, his sword's steel wall between him and the castle.-

Slateport Convention Center

One "Rising Gan: Gladiator Gunman" has signed up.

He takes a seat next to whoever.

Des: Alright let's go!

He's outfit is absolutely ridiculous. He's shirtless, save for a shield on his shoulder, he's wearing a cowboy hat, an armoured skirt thingy, sandals, and a pair of Gladii strapped to his legs.

Tourny Grounds

-Whap!-

Dane:Yeow!

-He does notice the sweep and jumps, trying to come down on the spear and counter with a slash to the shoulder-

Tourney Arena

-The Cross sees the jump coming at the last second and lets go of the spear, though he doesn't see the sword slash coming at the same time and take a hit.-

Referee: Point for Blue!

-The crowd cheers as the Cross tries a last ditch shoulder tackle at Dane's gut.-

Castle Volkihar

-Alright, uh... Charge I guess. Pent's gonna be lurking around looting stuff because I don't quite know how to write vampire slaughter >.<-

Tourny Grounds

-Dane quite easily sidesteps the tackle and takes a whack at the Cross' back of head with the pommle of the Blood Sword-

Dane:Sheesh.

Castle Volkihar

-Dune rushes forward, the old oak doors splintering as he rushes forward with all the force of an avalanche. That, or his sword is just strong. That one is probably more likely.-

Dune: Break yourselves upon my sword! FEEL the STRENGTH of the EARTH!

-Dune and what vanguard can keep up with him rush in, the sounds of their combat ringing past the door. Deziree and Lumen follow shortly.-

Deziree: Okay, who do I shoot first?

Lumen: <They'll likely have Obscura Wizards. They will try to unmake us with their ancient magics!>

Deziree: Right. The Umbra-but-not-Umbra guys first!

-She sets her sights on a particularly robed vampire on a balcony. She aims, fires, and suddenly the room is filled with an explosion of light and sound. The poor vampire is blasted back through the door of his balcony and turns to dust as he hits the wall.-

Deziree: ... Oh my god it's like a magical bowcaster. EEEEEEEEEEE~

-She sets sights on another vampire and pegs him between the eyes, causing him to backflip once, twice, three ti- SMACK! Never mind, he almost flipped around three times. Deziree giggles maniacally as a Shadowstalker creeps up behind her with a knife drawn.-

Lumen: <Hello there.>

-The vampire stops and hisses as he feels something bite him on the neck.-

Lumen: <Not so fun when it happens to you, is it?>

-Lumen continues to Bug Bite the vampire, any poison or disease in the dark humanoid being purged by the fire in his mouth and mane. The vampire then proceeds to run around, trying to dislodge the little insectoid missionary.-

Tourney Arena

-The Cross takes the whack to the head a lot better than you'd think. He rolls, and ends up on a knee, disarmed and wounded.-

Southern Cross: ... Damn. You got me, kid.

-He taps out. The referee makes the call, and the bell rings.-

Announcer: There you have it, folks! Round 2 goes to - Dark Blade Dane! He and the Hooded Blade will be back in the second bracket!

Battle Frontier

-Ria is tapped, and goes down. Sarah smirks.-

Sarah: Just don't let your confidence turn into cockiness.

-She sends out Holly, who is promptly Mega Evolved. She sees Kiyo, and blinks-

Holly: <I'm almost disappointed.>

Battle Frontier, past

Kiyo:<You are?>

-Suddenly evolution glows!-

Dragonite!Kiyo:<Still?>

Jason:Woah! Sweet! Dragon Dance into Extreme Speed!

-Kiyo flaps her new wings a few times before zipping at Holly-

Tourny Grounds

Dane:Wahoo! I won!

-He jumps and swings the constuct to flashily dissipate it.-

-He then heads back in-
