-She creates an eerie light and moves it around, confusing Mandrake-

Mandrake: <Ooogh... This is a bit of a damper...>

-He hits himself in Confusion-

Phoebe: "Great! Zen Headbutt!"

-The Sableye lowers her head and charges at Mandrake, damaging him a fair bit-

Mandrake: <Oof... You haven't bested me yet.>

Sholto: "Dazzling Gleam!"

-Mandrake releases a dazzling light, which knocks out the Sableye-

-Phoebe recalls her-

Phoebe: "Alright, your turn, Drifblim!"

-She sends out a Drifblim-

Drifblim: ♪ <Then when you get the chaaaance...> ♪

♪ <You are the dancing queen> ♪

♪ <Young and sweet> ♪

♪ <Only 17 hundred> ♪

-She then spins into an Acrobatics and hits and knocks out Mandrake-

-A strange, Doppler-like sound can be heard approaching. Those with exceptionally keen eyes might notice a dot in the distance approaching.-

*VWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!*

-A strange vehicle, easily mistaken for a UFO at a far distance, approaches quickly. Very quickly. It comes to a stop quite near Blue. It slowly descends before coming to rest about six inches above the ground. It rests there for a moment before the top of it peels back like a convertible car top. A young lady jumps out, laughing with pride.-

Deziree: The first test flight of the Firestorm Mk 0.1 is a success!

-Dune slides out of the other side before collapsing onto the ground. Apparently there was "some" turbulence.-

-The Firestorm sputters. Deziree, without turning around, kicks it. The sputtering stops.-

She hands Deziree the Zapper.

Deziree: Oh! This looks like an energy-projection device, geared toward electron-projection on the magnetic scale! In other words, it shoots lightning! And... Oh. There are some empty connections here. Was this geared to something else as well?

-She asks the question in a sort of half-rhetorical way.-

-She puts the light away before continuing.-

Deziree: Let me guess, you woke up rough? That happened to me. Plugged myself into a substation, got zapped pretty badly.

-Fishy is sent out-

-She spins into Fishy with another Acrobatics-

Fishy: <Ah! Hey!>

-He strikes at the Drifblim with an Ice Punch, but the Drifblim keeps singing and spinning-

Drifblim: ♪ <You can dance> ♪

♪ <You can ji-hive> ♪

♪ <Having the time of your liiiife> ♪

-She spins into Fishy with another Acrobatics, which he seems to be feeling more of-

Sholto: "Uh... try that other new move!"

Fishy: <...Alright...>

-Fishy sharpens a giant stone, then throws it at the Drifblim, knocking her out-

Drifblim: ♪ <Ohooooooh> ♪

Phoebe: "Hm, I was hoping she'd at least get through the chorus."

"Oh well."

-She recalls her Drifblim-

Phoebe: "Alright, your bonds are pretty strong, but will they hold up against Dusknoir?"

-She sends out her Dusknoir-

Dusknoir: <Oh, is it time for battle again? I do look forward to it.>

Fishy: <Hm...>

Sholto: "Try Earthquake! Dusknoir can still get hit by it!"

Fishy: <Uh, yeah.>

-He shakes the ground, doing some damage to Dusknoir-

Dusknoir: <Oh, so you're going that route, then?>

<Might as well stop that now.>

-She creates a Will-O-Wisp, which goes over and burns Fishy-

Fishy: <...Well, not trying another Earthquake.>

-He sprays a Scald at the Dusknoir, damaging her further-

Dusknoir: <Still kicking? Well, you won't be for long.>

-She casts the Evil Eye of Hex on Fishy, knocking him out-

-Sholto recalls him-

Sholto: "Okay, let's end this, E-Bird!"

-The Machamp is sent out-

Dusknoir: <Oh, hello.>

E-Bird: <Say hello to the fist!>

-He proceeds to use Knock Off on the Dusknoir, knocking her out-

-Phoebe recalls her Dusknoir-

Phoebe: "Well, darn. I've gone and lost."

"That said, you've got a pretty good bond with your Pokemon, it seems. Let's see how far that bond will take you."

Deziree: Oh, interesting! Never knew my parents. Magnemite aren't known for familial bonds. But I do know how mental duality works! Dealing with a Magnezone and a human side of your mind is interesting. There was a lot of giant mech fighting.

-Sholto heads into the next hallway, where the room across from him seems to have snow on its roof and icicles hanging from it-

-As he gets closer, a blizzard comes in and blows the door open and the bridge becomes covered with ice-

Hoenn League, Glacia Sidney's Room

Hi my name is Ebony Ténè'bres Dimentio Corvus Lee and I have long ebony black fur (that’s how I got my name) with purple streaks and red tips that reaches my mid-back and bright red eyes like blood and a lot of people tell me I look like Gerard Hyae (AN: if u don’t know who he is get da hell out of here!). [[I’m not related to Amphy Lee but I wish I was because she’s a major fucking hottie. I'm a weremightyena, but I can change when I want to as long as it isn't in battle. I have dark gray fur. I'm also a trained mon, and my trainer challenges others in this building called the Pokemon League in Hoenn. He's usually the first one but this time he's the third one. I'm a goth (in case you couldn't tell) and I wear mostly black. I love the Jean-ome Project and I buy all my clothes from there. I'm not really wearing any of it now because my trainer says not to wear them during challenges but I can wear them at other times. I was just getting ready to start the battle. It was snowing outside the room and there was no sun, which I was very happy about. The preppy challengers were staring at me. I showed them my Swagger.

Then one of the preps got mad. He was a Vileplume and said some stuff about hunting and tried to drop the moon on me. It really fucking hurt. Maybe he was trying to get me to transform or something even though I'm not that kind of weremon.

With Sidney's order to use Foul Play I knew it was time to get serious. I lunged at the prep and turned his strength against him. He took it so hard he hit himself. Then I did it again and it was too much for him and he went down.

The challenger recalled the Vileplume and a Talonflame came out in his place. He called her Lisa and she started talking about some preppy capitalist shit. I got mad and was going to show her my Swagger too but before I could she did an acrobatic fucking pirouette off the handle and dove at me. That attack pretty much tore me apart so I collapsed and Sidney recalled me.

Deziree: Rats? Odd. So is a yellow triangle. I mean, unless you were dreadfully psychologically damaged by a tortilla chip in your youth. But I doubt that would happen. Imagery from some other dimension? Possible. Would fit Elsewhere Theory quite well.
