"Uh oh..." That not only does a bit of damage topped with the extra from the vortex still spinning around Furnace, but he seems to actually be dizzy now. "Furnace, try not to hurt yourself, and use Rock Throw!"

<I'll do as I please you ripe blueberry, no un tells me ow to do my job ride or not, and Im the best dam operator this side of Route 127!> He seems to be ranting at...nothing, but he is picking up a rock...only to smash it against his own head. <There, whatd I tell ya?!>

"Um, I'm guessing you're not quite all there right now...."

Sarah: Worth a shot.

".. Okay, come on out, Punisher."

"Furnace, I need you to focus! I'm Not sure how many more of those you can do! Try Thunderfang again!"

<I told ya, dun no!> He opens his mouth, lightning filling it. <Tell meh!> He lunges foreward. <What ta do!> And manages to avoid driving right into the ground, instead actually trying to clamp his jaws around Sphere.

"Oh thank Arceaus...."

Sarah: Not usually. I'm not really a beach person usually, I just figured I might as well get some sunlight while it's still summer.

-She looks at her arms as the redness starts to fade-

Sarah: And then I dozed off. Kinda bad luck.

Mossdeep

"Hmm, looks like you're getting better. Well, if you don't mind, I'd like to explore the rest of the beach." With that, she walked away. "Bye bye!"

Good night, time for me to sleep.

-The Pigeotto whips up a Twister!-

-Grim's eyes glow purple as he unleashes a nice Powerful Synchornoise!-

-He goes for an Air Slash-

-...again, Grim is on the tankish side.-

-Synchronoise!-

<oof! Awa with ye, fowl mindflayer!>

Grim:<Now now, that's an insult to psychic birds.>

Jason:Now!

-He hurls a Great Ball.-

-Shoop-

-Wobble...wblle...wibble...worble...click!-

Hm...I'll call you...Aryn.

-The Pigeoto was indeed male, by the way.-

Sarah: See you, I guess. And thanks.

-She watches Daydre walk away-

Sarah: ...I have the unshakeable feeling that she's going to get dragged into the J-Team's shenanigans veeeery soon.

-Sphere is unable to avoid the Fang and faints-

Gogie: "Well..."

"You ready, Hazard?"

Hazard: <You bet!>

Gogie: "Alright... Smokescreen!"

-Hazard releases smoke from his mouth in Furnace's direction to try and impair his vision-

Mossdeep, Past

"Confusion and a smokescreen...you definitely fight smart, I'll give you that.... Furnace, if you can understand me, use Earthquake! Please, please, please..." He crosses his fingers, looking to his Pokemon.

<Uuuuuh, my head....course I can understand ya, sorry bout the problems before. Now then.> HE then slams his body into the ground, causing the whole area to shake violently, spitting up dirt and rocks of various sizes.

Vermilion City - yesterday

Jack: Yeah, probably.

-Jack checks his phone in the dark-

Oh dear! It's a lot later than I thought it would be! I need to hurry and meet my dad!

Mossdeep, past

-Hazard braces himself, but takes a good deal of damage from the Earthquake-

Hazard: <Rrgh... Take this!>

-His fangs begin to glow and he rushes forth to try and chomp down on Furnace-

Mossdeep, Past

Furnace, I know it's unlikely, but try and dodge it!" He was truly worried, not sure if Steelix could sink the damage from this attack.

<I think I like yer plan!> And so he tries to move, as fast as he can, but unfortunatly not fast enough, as the bite clamps down on one of the spires coming out of his body. <GAH!> He stumbles forward, clearly tired.

"Come on Furnace, get up! I know you can! And if you do, show this charmander what a real blast of heat looks like!"

<I...I can...I think I can do...just....that...> He takes in a deep breath, and a dark purple flame begins to form in his mouth. Which is then used to let loose an intense stream of heat.

"Wooot! Dragonbreath yeah!"

Lilycove - past

Fletcha: <Alright... Well right now I think I want to practice trying to stay aloft while dodging and being hit by attacks.>

Brandon: <Ooh, how can I help?>

Fletcha: <Heh, you can send powered-down attacks my way and I'll try to deal with them...lets just see how this goes.>

-to everyone- <You guys can join me if you want or just do your own thing...uhh yeah.>

Hazard: <Uh...>

-Hazard is unable to avoid the approaching Dragonbreath and faints-

-Gogie recalls him-

Gogie: "Well, we were close at least."

"But good match."

"Really close, I think I have some medicine in here though..." He grabs his pack form nearby, rifling through it. "Hmmm, no revives unfortunately, kind of hard to come by." He pulls out a super potion, spraying Furnace with it.

<Agh, careful, that stings!> He lays still however, relaxing onto the ground.

"But, I assume we have to head to the center to get your friends pokemon? Or do you have them with you and we can start right away?"

Mossdeep, past

Gogie: "Yeah, we'll have to head that way.
It'll be good to get my team healed, though."

"Cool, I can wait for you outside it then, if this place is as big as I've been told it is, might even be a proper battle field in the back. Alright everyone, in you go." He pulls out his pokeballs, and everyone begrudgingly let's him return them, except for ruby, who insists on staying out.

<I much prefer the open air, thank you.>

"Ruby come on, a little time in the ball won't kill you."

<I spent quite enough in there during out little sea journey.>
