Koro is sitting under a tree that he remembered from before his parrents died viewing. He begins to think of one the gift they gave him before they passed on, A small music box with an inscription that he couldn't quite remember clearly. Beside him is Bach sitting calmly working on a composition.

Koro:hey buddy, do you remember the music box that mom and dad got us when I turned 10?.

Bach:<I do. as I recall, we buried it under this very tree for safe keeping.>

Koro: Let's dig it up.

Koro smiled at bach as he said those last words. The two dig about for a bit eventually finding the music box.

Upon opening the box it begins playing a sound that Koro loved as a child. On the inside of the lid the inscription reads "Our lovely rolling boy, Happy birthday, we will always love you." on the inside of the box it there is a small statuette of a young Koro holding a small Bach surrounding is are photos of Koro, Bach,and his parents. When Koro sees the photos tears begin streaming his face as memories begin flooding in.

-And indeed, after a moment, a Spearow decides to investigate the source of the honey smell.-

Spearow: <Hrm... You, ah, don't mind if I help myself to some o' this stuff, do ya?>

Rose: Uh, feel free.

Spearow: <Right, right, thanks an' all.>

-He starts pecking at the honey.-

Psyche nods. <I heard we're going to Hoenn, soon, though.>

She notices the Espeon. She nods at Athena. Take care of it, Athena.

Athena nods. <Prepare for battle, adversary.>

Savannah: Travels...? I don't even know where I'm going yet, I think...

Feist: -tilts head- <So FINALLY you are getting mad and seeking me out?>

Phosphora: Well... that's a bit of a tricky question. When I'm not searching for something... I've usually found what I'm looking for, and thinking of a way to acquire it. And when I acquire it, I... just usually got it while looking for something else.

Phosphora: Come to think of it every time I search for something I find something else to search for in the process of searching for the first thing. Huh.

-he levitates a Gem and focuses Psychic energy into it, firing swirling beams at Tangerine and Forte...-

Athena huffs. <Normally I would be patient, and let you do the sensible thing, but this means I have less of a reason to challenge you.>

Verax: "Well that was easy. I think you can handle it from here."

-He smiles warmly and reassuringly-

Jacob: "Huh. So you look for objects or technology? Interesting."

-Sips his tea- "Since you told me about you, I suppose I should share about me. I'm a professional trainer, my goal is effectively to be the best trainer on the face of the planet, or barring that the permanent Champion of Hoenn, since this is my home."

-Sips his tea again- "My primary talents lie in strategic analysis and probability as well as counter tactics. I also invent in my free time. Apparently a rather widespread, or becoming widespread, battle simulator was initially created by me as a RTS just to pass time, and I also jury-rigged a holo-caster into an arm mounter PC, for item and Pokémon storage all with a holographic interface."

"... but I digress, what were you searching for that led you here? Secret Power?"

-The lightning quick dog would find the ball landed on top of a counter in the kitchen-

~FU-~ Yes, actually. I had heard of the move, but I didn't know that it had it's own TM. ~Yet.~ I was searching for the man who is supposed to have them, but I can't seem to find him.

-Bolter stops and stares at the ball. He had been trained to never jump up onto the counter. He gives the ball a pair of big puppy dog eyes in an attempt to make the lump of rubber relinquish it's unassailable perch.-

Psyche blinks. <Well, I guess that's it then?>

Athena pouts. <I wanted to challenge a fellow strategist!>

Psyche pets Athena. Don't worry, when we get to Hoenn, we will be able to train you.

Athena growls. <I find betting dishonorable, and I would rather it not be a part of this battle. It encourages the foul, underhandedness of war.>

She starts with a Calm Mind to materialize a Psychic version of Grecian Armor. <Allow me to start with a dressing up, before I give you a dressing down.>

Rose: Er... okay.

-She cautiously pulls out a Poke Ball, and taps the Spearow with it.-

Verax: -Claps and smiles- "Great going Pa-Rose! So you have your first Pokémon. Do you wanna name him?"
