Jacob: "Voidstar! Go!" -Sends out the Sneasel-

"Hone Claws, Shadow Ball!"

Voidstar: -Sharpens his claws and his focus, and fires a sphere of solid shadow at the Chandelure-

   Chandelure   : -Because of the choice scarf wrapped around it, it can only spew out Fire Blasts like a candy vending machine at the house of a billionaire who has an obese child- <IMMA FIRIN MY FIRE.>

Voidstar: -ACTION ROLLS out of the way and once again chains Hone Claws and Shadow Ball-

   Chandelure   : -Turns to Voidstar and once again expels a stream of fire-

Voidstar: -Is taken out-

Shauntal: -Is scribbling madly-

Jacob: -Facepalms and recalls Voidstar and sends out Regina- "Okay Regina... lets end this. Calm Mind and Shadow Ball!!"

Regina: <Kneel. Now!> -Draws power into herself and blasts an orb of solid shadow into the Chandelure, and it's promptly knocked out-

Shauntal: "Hmmmm... Oh! Maybe this would be a good time for that twist... Go, Froslass!"

Froslass: -Pops out and is wearing some wise looking glasses- <Hm? Another battle? How dreadfully unexciting.>

Shauntal: "Use Shadow Ball!"

Froslass: <Almost seems like a waste on this unenlightend-> -Uses Shadow Ball midsetence and is cut off by Regina-

Regina: <I hate women like you, so much!> -Due to her Calm Mind, she takes less damage than usual, she draws more power into herself and fires off another Shadow Ball-

Shauntal: "Maybe something subtler, Spikes!"

Froslass: -Is hit and takes some damage- <And I hate pushy girls. Mind your tongue.> -Scatters spikes all over Jacob's side of the area-

Jacob: "You know, what makes writing good is when you don't know what's coming. Don't tell me what you're doing, let me figure it out. Otherwise the story isn't as good. Regina, again!"

Regina: <Oh I'm going to take your fancy glasses and shove them right up your-> -Stops, takes a deep breath, draws energy into herself, and hits the Froslass with another Shadow Ball, and it falls to low health-

Shauntal: -Tuned Jacob out with her furious scribing- "Huh? Oh! Destiny Bond!"

Froslass: -Glows as she connects Regina's fate to her own- <You'll do what now, dear?>

Jacob: -Goes wide-eyed- "Hmmm......"

Gogie: <I'm not even sure how it happened myself.>

Herbert: I think we're all better off not knowing.

-He looks back at the screen.-

Herbert: ...Okay, I know I don't exactly have the best record when it comes to Sneasel and special attacks, but seriously? Hone Claws, then Shadow Ball? It has a physical counterpart for a reason, you know! I am going to give him so much grief about then when he comes out...

Shauntal's Room

Jacob: "Regina! Return!" -Recalls Regina and sends out-

"Discord! Crush that stupid thing! Crunch!"

Discord: -Skips his usual boasting and ham as he yelps in pain as he lands on some spikes, shakes his head and charges at the Froslass and ker-CHOMPS her, and she faints instantly-

Shauntal: "I guess we're nearing the climax of this! How exciting! Golurk!" -Sends out a Golurk wearing a muscle band on it's head-

Golurk: -Flexs and points and silently brags, annoying Discord, who charges at it-

Shauntal: "Earthquake!"

Golurk: -Rears back and punches the ground, sending a shockwave at Discord that knocks him out-

Jacob: "Nrgh... enough with the writing metaphors already.... Argentum!" -Sends out Argentum, who is wearing a 'Love Seat 4 Life' pin-

"OOOH WHAT THE-"

Argentum: -Tries shaking some spikes off his feet- <Hm? Rock Polish and Ice Punch? Okay.> -Glows and dashes at the Golurk and punches it with a frozen fist-

Shauntal: "Rock Polish! Chain it with a Fire Punch!"

Golurk: -Glows, rears back as his fist bursts into flames, smacks Argentum right in the middle of his face, and lights the Metagross on fire-

Jacob: "But whhhhhhhhhhhy?! WHY ARGENTUM WHY?!"

Argentum: -Amused- <Look how you're reacting. And Iron Defense and another Ice Punch? Can do.> -Rushes at the Golurk, glowing, and punches it in the face, knocking it out-

Shauntal: "Gengar, let's go!" -Sends out a Gengar wearing a black belt of some sort-

"Fire Punch!"

Gengar: <Heheheheh.> -Rushes at Argentum and punches him with a blazing fist, and it's Expert Belt glows-

Argentum: -Glows and becomes harder before grabbing the Gengar and slaming it into the ground with great force, taking some damage- <Nope.>

Gengar: -Jumps back-

Shauntal: "Perish Song!"

Gengar: -Opens it's mouth and spews forth a horrible noise, but in a rhythm that can thus classify it as a song-

Jacob: -Slams his hands over his ears-

Argentum: -Looks like he's in pain-

Unova League

Herbert: ...One moment, please.

-Herbert pulls his "Love Seat 4 Life" T-shirt out of his bag and puts it on over his sweater.-

Herbert: You may continue with the scheduled beating, Argentum.

Ghostus: <What is with Metagross wearing those pins?>

-Gogie snickers a bit-

Jacob: "BUT WHY?!"

Argentum: <Okay, now you're taking it-> -Grabs the Gengar and glows, using Iron Defense- <A bit too far. And this is for forever tarnishing the name of music.> -Slams the Gengar into the ground with a Celestial Impact Force, fainting it-

Shauntal: "Ooooh... It looks like this may be our final chapter... Drifblim!" -Continues writing and sends out the Drifblim, and it's holding a small gem-

"Calm Mind! Then go for a Shadow Ball!"

Drifblim: <You are riding with Ghost Balloon Air. Next stop;    PAIN   .> -Calms its mind and hits Argentum with a Shadow Ball, and he faints-

Jacob: "Hmm... Pest! Let's see what you can do!" -Sends out the Golbat-

Pest: <Meheheheh. No spike damage for me! Meh heh.>

Jacob: "Double Team! Theif!"

Pest: -Makes a few illusions of himself and tries to take the Drifblim's gem- <SHIIIINY!!>

Drifblim: <   MY SHINY   .> -Holds on to it-

Shauntal: "Okay then! Acrobatics!"

Drifblim: -The gem glows and vanishes, and because of its Unburden, it becomes lightning fast, striking Pest for massive damage-

Pest: -Is knocked back, picks himself up and-

Jacob: -Does an Epic Finger Point- "PAYBACK!"

Pest: -Creates darkness from the pain he just withstood, and hits the Drifblim, nearly fainting it-

Shauntal: "Calm Mind and Thunderbolt!"

Jacob: "Doh...-"

Pest: <-crap. Mehehehe-> -Is knocked out by the Thunder bolt-

Jacob: -Sighs and recalls Pest before sending out Regina- "Shadow Ball."

Regina: <With pleasure.> -Fires a solid ball of darkness at the Drifblim, knocking it out-

Shauntal: "Do you ever feel at a loss for words when something greatly moves you?"

"To tell the truth... I'm a writer, but right now I'm having trouble putting my feelings into words. You were just

that impressive!"

"My Pokémon and the challenger's Pokémon."

"Everyone battled even though they were hurt..."

"Thank you."

Jacob: "Any time. Now does the glowing green thing take me back to the main room?"

Shauntal: -Is ignoring Jacob, writing-

Jacob: "Well fine then, guess I'll figure it out for myself." -Recalls Regina and steps on to the warp pad-

-Ren wakes up and sends a text to Doug telling him to send Christine, Erik and Pierre. Ren goes to a public storage management machine. A Premiereball, a Luxuryball, and a Pokeball appear. ren checks Cristine's, Erik's, and Pierre's status. Ren texts Doug that the family got there safely. Pierre is picked up by his mother-

Ren:-to his pokemon, looking at each in turn- Christine.

-Christine curtseys with the arm not holding Pierre-

Ren:Erik

-Erik bows his head politely-

Ren:Pierre.

-Pierre hides his face in his mother's chest-

Ren:-smiling pleasantly- I need all your help. I need you to teleport me to a rental cabin in Humilau City. Some of my things are there. We'll get them and bring them back here, okay? Christine, if you could instruct Pierre?

Christine<Of course, Ren. Pierre, can you do copy what your father and I are about too do?>

Pierre<I'll try.>

Christine<Good. I be right here to help you>

-Ren holds out his hands and the two adult pokemon each takes one.-

Ren:Teleport.

-Six eyes flash, and the four figures suddenly disappeared.-

30 minutes later, Unova League, in Ren's room

-Four figures and several parcels appear-

Ren:Thank you, you three. I'll take it from here.

-Ren returns his pokemon and puts away his things-

Ren:Well I better get ready for anything.

-Ren walks out of his room and is available for interaction-

Jacob: "Well that wasn't too bad.... Hold on I need to heal you guys up."

-Pulls out a bunch of Max Revives and Full Restores and heals his team back to perfect health-

"Well then... Let's see what's behind door number two...." -Enters another room-

Caitlin's Room

Jacob: -Walks up the stairs and watches Caitlin emerge from her flower thing and descend to the ground-

Caitlin: "It's me who appeared when the flower opened up."

Jacob: "No really. I would never have guessed."

Caitlin: "You, standing over there..."

Jacob: "I have a name."

Caitlin: "You look like a Pokémon Trainer with strength and kindness." "

Jacob: "Aaaand you obviously don't care."

Caitlin: "What I look for in my opponent is superb strength... I'm counting on you!"

Jacob: -Smirks and shrugs- "Well then, you're getting far more than you bargined for. I, Jacob Iridis, master of- You know what you don't care. Okay let's just get this over with."

Unova League

-Ren sees a new Elite Four challenger on the monitor in Catlin's room. Ren releases Gamma and Rio. Gamma integrates in to Ren's tablet as Rio walks along side-

Ren:Gamma, who's the Elite Four member there?

Gamma:Searching ... Done. That is Caitlin. She is a psychic type specialist.

Rio:<Ugh. That would be a tough fight for me.>

Caitlin: -Yawns- "Musharna." -Sends out a Musharna-

Jacob: "Psychics, eh? P-1, start this off right!" -Sends out the Bisharp-

"Once again, Swords Dance! Night Slash!"

P-1: <Yay! Pink fluffy flower thing! That means no more fire! And no fire means STABBITY TIME!> -Does a silly dance then slashes at the Musharna-

Musharna: -Is hit and sustains a fair bit of damage-

Caitlin: "I have a feeling this battle will give my Pokémon a chance to go all out!"

Jacob: "If you don't, I would be a failure as a trainer."

Caitlin: "Musharna, use Hypnosis!"

Musharna: -Attempts to lull P-1 to sleep-

P-1: -Eyes close and he drops to the floor, asleep-

Jacob: "Nrrrgh.... P-1! Wake up and use Night Slash!"

P-1: -Is peacefully snoring away-

Caitlin: "Calm Mind, then use Charge Beam."

Musharna: -Draws energy into itself then fires a beam of electricty at P-1, and uses the excess to boost itself-

Jacob: "Well this isn't the start I was hoping for."

-Jumps at the Musharna and makes an X-shaped slash in his sleep-

Musharna: -Is surprised and hit, falling to low health-

Caitlin: "Moonlight!"

Musharna: -Somehow gathers moonlight and heals herself-

Jacob: "Nrrrrgh!! Stupid healing moves....! P-1! Once more! Sleep Talk!"

P-1: -Begins sleep-dancing, embarassing, out of style sleep dancing-

Caitlin: "Well that's interesting."

Jacob: "NRRRGH...!" -Facepalms-

Caitlin: "Musharna! Calm Mind and Charge Beam!"

Musharna: -Once agains draws energy into herself and fires a beam of electricity at P-1, and as a result of the boosted power-
