Why can't I turn the spoilers on?!

I'm also unable to see any text in spoilers even though my preferences is set to "visible". I've tried the recommended fixes (clear cookies and cache, etc.) And when I try to change my spoiler prefs to "hidden", the change isn't being saved.

Ditto here. Chrome 10, Windows 7. I've tried toggling the setting multiple times, and it doesn't work. (Using the page https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SpoilersOff to test it.)

It is set to 'visible' in the database. You must have a cookie that is overriding it. Clear your cookies for the tvtropes.org domain. Here's how.

i found it out! u have to highlight the blank boxes and then the spoilers show!
