No, but you can go nuts from boredom. Look up 'sensory deprivation'.

I heard that boredome is a result of certain exhitatory chemicals firing in your brain, making you fidgity or prone to action when not doing anything. If you inhibited this chemicals, would the boredome go away? A frightening thought indeed...
