Asura's Wrath

It's STILL gut-wrenching because piano! ;___;

It's agreed that Asuras Wrath turned from Dragon Ball Z into something like Gunbuster/Diebuster, Heroic Age, and Gurren Lagann for the last battle, correct?

Just finished the whole DLC and all I can say is... That whole fight against Chakravartin was fucking amazing

... Yes. Nothing says transcending like fighting through the many layers of Naraka.

I'd say that it's probably the most epic final boss fight of this console Generation.

The sheer sight of seeing Asura going Gongen Wyzen on his ass was bloody win!

And then being able to destroy the planets and Stars being thrown at you with just a few energy blasts, as well as Chakravartin causing the Sun to go Super nova just to try to kill you.

It also reminded me of the first phase against Cubia in Dot Hack GU, sorta.

Don't forget how he transformed his own Mantra Halo into a fucking jetpack for that!

The jet back has what look like the wing fins Haseo Uses in his ultimate form against Cubia

seiously, though, if asura became a playable Avatar in the Dot Hack games, it would be cool.

The part after the final burst gauge increase is probably one of the best Action Commands Usage I've Ever seen, if not the most unique and original. Bravo, Cyberconnect2, Bravo.

Fucking. Awesome.

Indeed it is. And it was worth waiting for. It could of been a part of the main game, and the reviews would of probably been much more favorable, but its okay as it is, as it seems like if the game did do well, it would of been a full sequel. Considering how much more interactive the QTE's were in it sure shows it was probably intended for a better sequel of sorts.

This still chokes me up every time:

"My Wrath.. is finally......gone."

... Funny thing.

In the pre-order artbook, they have a concept of all of Asura's non-Wrath and non-Berserker forms, including what looked to be a 6-armed version of Mantra Asura.

I didn't expect THAT to be the Destructor form.

It amuses me that Asura gets a statue in the new capital of civilization 870,000,000 years later, and the newly-reincarnated Asura doesn't even bother noticing.

True, very true.

Okay, I admit, that was a BOSS ending. Now, I'm feeling like one guilty-ass mofo for trading in the game. In all honesty I don't think a sequel would be necessary for Asura's world. Although, Capcom did a shitty job at marketing it the overall ending is awesome.
