Final Fantasy XV (previously Versus XIII)

We only have Episode Ardyn and Luna left.

They mentioned having a whole year's worth of upcoming content. I'm content with them milking this particular game if it means having a chance to fill in the game's gaps as well as training their employees on the engine so the development of FFXVI will go a lot smoother.

Any word of Pocket Edition? My computer is too bad to play the PC version, if there even is one, and I don't own any game consoles.

What Happened?

Ignis is best Waifu

Ignis was always my favorite, but he's a shockingly well-written and fascinating character in this.

The element switching is pretty fun too. I do wish we could get some more mileage out of his spear outside his High Jump and parries though

Ardyn◊ is best waifu son.

Ardyn was excellent. They also finally threw Ravus a proper bone in this as well as gave Gladio a little more dimensionality, as miniscule as it was. Even Camelia Claustra got some good material.

Also the music was incredible. Mitsuda is coming back in style.

Oh, Prompto. I love ya, and I love your photography mechanic, but you really are an awful photographer sometimes.

Despite being quite a few chapters away from her introduction, I've yet to see a single picture with Gentiana in it. Not because those pictures aren't spawning, mind you. The characters comment that she's in a picture every once in a while, so I've allegedly gotten four or five of them thus far. It's just that usually 90% of the photo is taken up by a tree, or a huge monster or Gladios ass in one memorable occasion, so she's not actually visible.

I figured it was just that Snapshot photos were a crapshoot - I mean, they are - but at least one of them was a regular automatic one so I dunno. Don't quit your day job, Prompto.

Come to think of it did Prompto have a day job before the plot? I know Gladio and Iggy have official jobs as Noctis's valet and bodyguard but Prompto is the normal one

Oh, hey Royal Edition is a thing I bought.

"Professional Friend of the Prince," I think.

It's a nice job. You mainly earn money by being close to people who have tons of it. The downside, as shown by much of his dialogue, is a profound sense of crushing inadequacy.

I wonder if any of the four ever went to college or even considered it. Or if college is really a thing in this setting's culture. Probably, given Sania Yeager had to have gotten her doctorate from somewhere.

On a different note I refused to ship anyone in the game for the longest time because none of the romance is even all that well written, and because I enjoyed the four bros' dynamic as tight but platonic friends better. But after everything that went down in Episode Ignis I can't help but Starboard Ignis→Noctis. Anyone else have this happen to them? Whatever Regis's original plans were I don't think he banked on Ignis turning out the way he did.

I very rarely have any interest in Final Fantasy romances.

I only really go for the main ones in VIII through X.

Anyway man I hope mods come out that add soundtracks from the games SE didn’t add to the radio, I mean add XIII tracks but not XIII-2 or Lightning Returns.... I cant play crazy chocobo while on a red chocobo... sacrilege!

But Iris has um...er.....something...

She gets to be playable in cell phone games unlike Luna.

Since they are doing a second season pass.... Episode Iris go.

Maybe that's where they can place all the fabled Gladio character development.
