Well, yeah, I knew you were awake, but I thought you might be busy or something.

But it seems like Evvy's asleep though, so...

Are we doing backstories? If so, do we need to post them, or not? I have a really rough idea of one, but it's not something my character would talk about much.

Backstories sound good. Let's do that, even if we don't reveal them in-character. They don't have to be that long either; just enough to flesh your character out. You don't need to add any more detail than you feel is necessary.

And I was, in fact, asleep when INUH showed up again. It was about 11:30 where I was, and, according to the combined time range that works for everyone, Zersk's computer would have been taken in about two hours anyway. Two hours is hardly enough for an eventful D&D game.

Today is still perfectly fine for me, if it is with you. We can extend past 12:00 A.M. (or 9:00 P.M. for Zersk, or 4:00 P.M. for Cygan) if we are in the middle of something and are able to. I just think that four hours should be the minimum if we want to get the most out of a once-a-week session.

Llayra's backstory/personality:

Llayra is a young woman who grew up in a small druidic community. Her life has not been very eventful up until now; she has grown up as a hunter, and she has helped to breed and train horses, though she was never good at that. She has not loved, nor has she suffered (except once, ten years ago, when a portion of her home was razed to the ground by a careless camper). Her community has regularly been forced to fight off orcs, and, seeing that her community has relative trouble dealing with this paltry threat, she decided that her talents, including magic bestowed upon her by the forces of nature, would be better used in a more specialized crew. She was given the choice to leave at the age of eighteen, as all in that community are, and so she did. Since then, she has sought out friends, traveling with her wolf and best friend, Haisa.

Personality-wise, Llayra is very indifferent about most things, as well as soft-spoken. Her opinions are few (save for a hatred of orcs), though she usually tries to stay on the path of righteousness if she can help it. She does not wish to harm others, but, as a hunter, she is not averse to killing, should the situation necessitate it. She gets along okay with people and very well with animals.

It's pretty small, but she's not supposed to have had an interesting life so far. That way, the wonders of the world out there will be more potent, and her experiences will be defined by her camaraderie with her new friends.

Seren's:

Seren was raised by a priest of [INSERT NAE OF LAWFUL GOOD GOD HERE], after her mother was killed in childbirth. Her father abandoned her, and the priest took her in to protect her.

Originally, the priest wanted to train her as a Cleric to serve their God. But when their bbey was attacked by bandits, Seren was forced to pick up a sword in defence of her fellow priests. The priests, noting her aptitude (although nit skill) with the sword, asked a Paladin to come and train her, to serve their abbey well.

However, some time after she first started receiving tuition, the abbey was attacked again, to prove that you do not mess with bandits. And so, Seren was left, wandering alone, until she joined up with a party of fellow Adventurers.

Simple, but it serves its' purpose.

Okay, here's a rough version of Tramlaw's:

Tramlaw grew up in a tiny coastal fishing village with a population of about 50. He has never left it before. Until recently, he was unaware that several centuries ago, the founders of this village had mixed their lineage with something unpleasant. As a result, youths from this village tend to develop some magical proficiency. Tramlaw was no exception.

His early life passed more or less without incident, as he was not yet in on the secret.

When he turned 18, though, the time came for him to be inducted into the cult the village serves as a front for. Tramlaw was less than enthusiastic when he found out, and fled with whatever gear he could grab. That was only a few days ago.

Yes, it's a Lovecraft reference, but since sorcerers are supposed to have some weirdness in their family tree, I figured it worked.

And I'm up. Here's the houseruled Player Character "incomplete skeleton" template I came up with:

—+2 Dexterity, -4 Intelligence, No Constitution.
—Medium size.
—Base land speed of 30 feet.
—Darkvision out to 60 feet.
—Player Character class Hit Dice become d12's.
—Damage reduction 3/bludgeoning.
—Immunity to cold.
—+4 to saves against mind-affecting effects.
—Immunity to poison, sleep, paralysis, stunning, disease, and death effects.
—Immune to nonlethal damage, ability damage or ability drain on physical ability scores (Str, Dex, Con), fatigue, and exhaustion.
—Negative energy (such as an inflict spell) can heal it. Regular healing (such as a cure spell) instead causes the equivalent amount of damage.
—Immunity to any effect that requires a Fortitude save (except those that affect objects or are harmless).
—Not subject to massive damage.
—Does not need to eat, sleep, or breathe.
—Automatic Languages: Common. Bonus Languages: Abyssal, Infernal, Undercommon.
—Level Adjustment: +0

How's that? Assuming we allow Clocky to play as a skeleton, this is the template I think we should use. Being a dread necromancer would likely be easier in the end, though.
