I'm waiting until House of Wolves drops. <_<

House of Wolves has begun to draw me back in, despite RN Grima's hateboner for me. I am slowly, veeery slowly, grinding my way up to Raid-competent levels.

Honestly I'm mostly waiting for House Of Wolves too. So many nice changes will be here and I feel like it'd be a waste to level all my weapons and armor up now when the whole system is gonna change soon.

Them raid level Banner helmets do have me interested though.

Pre-DLC content cant be upgraded unless it is at max current level.

Unless you have filled all the bubbles, you cant use the etheric light to upgrade the guns/armor

And pre-dlc guns/armour are going to keep the attack/defense bubbles, so you gotta fill them too.

You can still upgrade them after HoW drops, might be easier with the speaker selling ascended mats.

Well, he's selling a very cheap exchange between Shards and Energies.

And there won't be much point in leveling old armor unless you really like it, so you can snag some new armor that doesn't need Shards and use that to be able to join a Raid group, because the Vault pays out Shards and Energies like candy, which you can take to bring your old stuff back up.

What console are you on, anyhoo? There's plenty of folks on PS4 here, and I'd be willing to try and help anyone else on 360 set something up. If, you know, they actually flippin' existed.

I have work tomorrow morning. I'm good today and tonight save for an hour long meeting I've gotta be at. Friday I'm off too.

I am also waiting to return to Destiny until HOW drops.

Oh well, we'll have a whole new batch of gear anyway and the only things really not leveled are my exotics and alt's armor. And I don't care that much about them.

Didn't DeeJ upgrade a Gjallarhorn that only had all the bubbles unlocked but not filled, or am I misremembering?

And how high a level can old armor get when you upgrade it? Like it won't be raid level will it? What if it's old raid armor or Iron Banner armor?

There is no longer a difference in armor levels.

As such, I think Etheric light will be a raid reward.
