Like it's got super high stability, which I guess is cool. That's about it though

6 round field scout magazine, high rof, high stability, arc sniper. it has its palce.

Oh it's a good sniper rifle. Arguably the best sniper rifle.

But at the end of the day that's all it is, a really good sniper rifle. There's no fun special gimmick like some of the other exotics.

While we're on the topic what does custom optics do exactly? I've always wondered that.

Final Boss levels of fire rate and stability?

(I ask because I could use one as my arc burn Exotic, in that case)

Higher I think. If memory serves it's the most stable sniper rifle in the game.

Much much higher. Fire rate is the same but it's got almost twice as much stability.

One, I thought the gimmick was invisibility, and two, Praedyth's Revenge with the Ambush scope has a full bar of Stability, so it's either the winner (with that scope) or they tie.

Garcon: As long as it doesn't have the special property of "it's a piece of shit" like NLB, that's fine.

Custom optics usually gives higher zoom, but on P&T it actually lowers the zoom and gives a wider snapshot.

The invisibility turns off when you pull the trigger and only works when you're aiming. In PVE you're always too far away for it to be useful and in PVP it doesn't matter as the red sniper light is still there. Third eye is much more useful than it's exotic perk.

Praedyth's is close and with that scope it beats it but Patience and Time also has fitted stock as an option which puts it back int he lead.

Patience and time also has higher impact than Final Boss.

That's what I thought it did, I usually take that over Field Scout or anything else, I like my zooms low and field of view high.

I finished Nightfalls on all 3 characters for the first time ever. And ended up getting The Last Word which is my first ever exotic mission reward. It honestly makes up for getting strange coins and shards on my other two characters.

If Xur really is selling the Helm of Saint Mohawk next week I'll be level 32 for sure, that should solve things.

Garcon, how do we know that when we get to crota you wont decide to take a twelve hour nap after we fail once or twice?

Because my twelve hour naps only happen after we fail a dozen times or so.
