(@ Anarchy) Where did it say that Homu jumps from one universe to the next (like Rika does in Higurashi)? Never mind, saw Sackett's post.

something"This means the special power of Homura is the ability to manipulate one month's time's worth of sand in the sand timer."
How bizarrely appropriate. Sayaka wished for healing so she got regeneration powers with her transformation. Homura wished to change the events of the past month... so she got the power to mess with that month's time. She won't "lose" her power when the month is over, because her power IS control over that month. And if you assume overwriting-timetravel, her control over that month is pretty damn strong—an absolute veto power PLUS personal superpowers surpassing the normal (so an absolute veto plus about three people's worth of votes). Once the month is over, if she doesn't reset it, her power will still be her power—it'll just stop being relevant to any situation she'll ever find herself in again.
She will still have the hyperspace shield full of weapons though, plus generalized superhuman powers like flight and strength. The golf club's pretty worthless though.
The way I read it was this. Homura is allowed to spend up to one month max in her timestopped state - that is, she could stop time at 11:58PM on April 1, live for a month in the timestopped world, then start moving again at 11:58PM on April 1st - but after that, she couldn't use the timestop again. She would have to flip her hourglass over, at the same time triggering Reload State, to get more timestop sand.
It's been fun.The other thing is she could wait until say, 5 days after April ends. She "flips the hourglass", and ends up on April 5, with full control over that month.
Reaction Image RepositoryBut isn't that basically saying she can only stop time within the month she's timestoped in? If that was the case it would only be her magic capacity limiting the amount of time she could freeze time for.
Actually I don't think the way you're saying it is the way it works, because the time in her hourglass stops flowing when she stops time, making it more like her having the power to manipulate that paticular month.

I call forth Unlimited Stories!Er… yes, so? We've never been given any indication that was limited by anything else…

^^Yeah, actually. I went back and reread the actual post; that is a lot closer to how it is.
It's been fun.That pool... I didn't see the ending coming. ;___;
Imoutos are the best! Follow at your own risk. Tumblr.About Homura's powers: Urobuchi explicitly stated that the details of how they function aren't important. We can argue about how they work, but it being limited to a months isn't going to matter
Oh, and I have an idea of why MBS might be hesitant to broadcast episode 11: Just showing mass destruction isn't likely to be something they'd continue to have a problem with... but how the characters react could be. If Homura's reaction to this Walpurgisnacht was to, say, kidnap Madoka and run the hell away, I could see they're point, to some extent
Urobuchi Twittered that there will be a Madoka related announcement in 12 hours. That was 6 hours ago, so possible broadcast resumption news by morning.
So yay.
@Sakurazaki: The complete translation of that Tweet:
Twelve hours left! Go to bed and wait for good fortune! Sleep well...
It's been fun.So its a bit vague....
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.I wonder if becoming a witch would get rid of that "inescapable" immortality...
Wait actually I could just use my wish to end my immortality.

If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits. The "Go to bed..." line means something like "All good things come to those who wait."

I love learning new idioms. Thanks, Jake's.
It's been fun.No.
No.
NO.
JUST NO.
OMFG WE'RE ALL FUCKED IT'S TROLLKASTEL AND TROLLWHATEVERTHEFUCKHOMERUNBECOMES.
If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahI think the artist just didn't think that all the way through
But Homura wouldn't accept that. Now Madoka won't accept that. And really, all this misery is because the fucking Incubators wouldn't accept it.
According to Rika, there are occasional variations introduced from the very beginning of the reset. Sometimes, K1 or Satoko's uncle never comes to Hinamizawa, and these affect the possibilities of reaching a happy ending.
I was wondering what would happen if something similar occurred to Homura's situation. What if it wasn't Homura's actions but the new realities themselves making the situation worse and denying Madoka that happy ending, all because Homura could not accept death as a conclusion?
Homura: No, my battlefield is not here.

To the song born in this moment, your presence is very precious....!
Homerun needs a K1.
If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahThe difference is that here, we haven't seen any differences between timelines that can't be explained as being a result of Homura's actions.
Sure we can. Kyouko.
^^ But that doesn't make sense since Homura's wish was to redo her meeting with Madoka.
