How can Kyouko know what Hitomi's nightmares are, though? The way she says it sounds like she actually saw Hitomi's nightmares or whatever. Dream-related magic or monsters isn't really a relevant thing here.

If Hitomi does become a magical girl it wouldn't be at all unbelievable for her to wish Sayaka back, I guess, but she isn't treated as an active agent in the trailer so maybe not.

Homura actually ascending with Madoka would make it difficult to include her in any further sequels though.

Well unless Homura turns down Madoka offer to join her in heaven...Nah.

Ok, Sayaka basically died for nothing and Kyosuke is even more of a douchebag, you never cease to amuse me Urobuchi.

It seems that no heterosexual couple can come out happy in this whole damn universe, no wonder Madoka was so powerful, if Tomohisa isn't a transexual woman then Madoka was really born into a miracle family.

I didn't like Kyousuke from the start. I don't understand the hate for Hitomi though, she was a girl who fell in love. It was just a case of bad timing.

Way back in the thread someone said Homura could use Rika's help. I think it would work far better the other way around. (Higurashi spoilers) Homura could follow Tomitaka and Takano. Find out the truth. Then defeat the Mooks by herself. Really it'd be too easy.

I know I accused the Inkyubeytors of only following rules out of practicality, but I thought of something. They could have started a religion a few thousand years back. Being a magical girl witchification or not would be a holy duty. Going against them or Advancing to the point that people would realize the truth would be heresy. But they didn't do that.

Probably considered Religion impractical and illogical.

The thing is, Tomotaka always gets killed and takano was the one killed everyone. Sayaka is not Tomitake and Kyubey isn't Takano. none of the previous Madokas are Hanyuu.

I'm not quite sure how that's relevant. I just saying that following those 2 to find out the truth, would occur to Homura. And she'd be better equipped to kick all of the asses that need kicking.

Who ever said they had to believe in it? They could very easily create a religion for magical girls to follow without actually believeing in it. Which is what I think was implied, and I also think you knew that and just want a reason to belittle the Qbs.

And I resent your implication that religious people can't be logical or rational, or that not being religious because you're logical or rational is a bad thing. I'm sure there are plenty of logical people who aren't atheistic or agnostic.

As the one who first said it, I want to point out that I myself am religious(at the least I believe in God).

What I meant by that is that the Kyubey are the kind of race who would see religion as illogical and irrational.

As for whether they would still make use of it the way you suggested, not so sure about that, but I can't deny it either.

They're just oh-so-devious, right? It's not impossible to get someone to believe something without you believing in it without lying to them, especially if you're just giving them a mission and telling them they're working for a higher cause. And that they'll be punished if they don't comply (Sayaka can attest to that).

Except all the heterosexual couples that boinked in order to create all the cast of the show. I mean, the one recurring dude that's actually a minor character that does anything is a douche but that doesn't mean heterosexual couples are doomed. Just ones involving Kyosuke.

@On topic of religion: If in-show Joan of Arc is anything like real Joan of Arc, she thought she was doing god's work and hearing god's voice so maybe she mistook coobie for an angel. A marshmallow angel.
