Story Idea, Advice Please?

Okay, so recently I've had this idea for a story, maybe even a webcomic, and it spawned off of the simple idea of making a romantic comedy slice of life about a private school full of ugly boys going coed with a private school of pretty girls.

Somehow, I got the idea in my mind to make it so that the main character had some sort of split personality that could alter reality around him, and try to escape into the real worl to reek havoc.

The second part was inspired after reading the webcomics Concession.

So, should I try to work on it? Sometimes I need a kick in the pants to get started.

Sounds interesting.

Try thinking about a way to ease the DID thing in mmore gently; maybe he expresses it through journal posts?

I was going to have some background events happen that hint that something was going on.

In the end, it would seem as if the main character had done everything all along due to suffering from split personality disorder. But then something would happen that would hint at something supernatural going on...
