I know it should go into Mega Man JBM page, but I can't get a quick answer from there, so I go to here instead.

So, this is mainly about Girouette's Heroic Sacrifice. After he's struck by Serpent's attack, he's mortally wounded. Somehow, he wants to give the Model Z to Vent/Aile. Model Z said that he won't survive the wounds when they demerge, but Girouette persists, and then he become a Cyber-Elf.

This just sounds like a Senseless Sacrifice to me - Just why does he want to give his Model Z to Vent/Aile despite his condition? What did he sacrifice himself for?

The way I see it, he was going to die either way. His sacrifice just sped up the process.

His sacrifice gave his partner the strength to keep moving.

If I remember correctly, both were paralyzed on the ground and surrounded by enemies. They were both about to die. Someone had to do something, and Giro sacrificed himself so that his partner could live.

[up][up] You may be right.

But couldn't they just be saved by the Guardians? (now it's a different, but related topic.) Can't they do anything?

Well, what do the Guardians have at their disposal? Just regular humans and reploids with crappy guns. Probably even weaker than those Pantheons  *

Speaking of IJBM for Mega Man ZX...Leganchor, the second water/ice type pseudoroid you fight.

All the pseudoroids are based on animals. Raptor, weasel, lion, mole, angler fish,...and an anchor.

Why did they make a whole series of pseudoroids based on animals, and then randomly base one off an ANCHOR?

^ Leganchor is based off of a jellyfish. Gelroid after all.

[up][up] Just look at what his "species name" is - Gelroid, fitting for a jellyfish. His given name Leganchor is just leg + anchor, and he has anchors for his "legs".

On the same vein, Fistleo's species name is Predatoroid - Not explicitly a lion - but from his looks and given name, we can assume him as such.

This is also the case of Bifrost. Nothing from his name indicates that he's a crocodile, but his species name is Crocoroid.

BTW, the Pantheon from Zero series has a Spiritual Successor in the form of Galleons. Not that they're any less dangerous than the former, but still...

And from ZXA, it seems like the Hunters are more badass than the Guardians, as two of them just needed to take out a small army of Galleons (even though the two are seemingly dead as well), as shown in the intro cutscene.
