And yes, the spelling mistake was deliberate.

Basically, this is a place to post all those plot ideas that are running rampant in your head, but you know you'll never actually put down to paper.

Understand this: Once you post a plot bunny here, you are no longer claiming it. Anyone who wants can steal it, dissect it, take whatever part of it they want for their own stories, or just plain ignore it if they want.

So, to get the ball rolling...

The plot bunny that inspired this thread goes something like this.

It's sort of set in a giant super-robot show, except not really- the giant robots are really more just oversized power armours. Several times taller than a human, but nowhere near the size of mechs in Super Robot shows.

In order to be able to use these suits, you need to have nanites injected into you. These nanites serve two purposes;

1. They toughen your body up, letting you take the damage that is done to your body in a giant robot fight.

2. They emit a wireless signal to your power armour, telling it how to move.

It's not a perfect system, and it's often quite clumsy. But considering that it's only a new technology, I'm sure that further refinements could be used.

Speaking of super robots — I've been tossing around an idea about the girlfriend of a guy who turns into an alien-oid fighting machine. It'd have a stereotypical starting point as classical super robot shows; external forces threaten status quo, mundane people gain access to superweapon, and they fight crime! I mean external forces. And I guess it'd keep that thing going on for a moment, 'cept for the boyfriend-turned-into-living-weapon thing.

The girlfriend is the only way to even remotely control him, since he refuses to take anyone seriously except for her; maybe he can't even communicate with or perceive anyone else. Of course this gets complicated over time — take his shifting psychology into account and, over time, this becomes the drama fountain. The climax is of course when he turns against her. Duh-dun!

I'm pretty sure something like this has already been done. It sounds too much like Kanojo and Evagelion already.

Right now I'm thinking of posting a random story focusing two friends named Anna Banana and Tom Strawberry. It's drafted on a document right now. Been thinking of posting it on Fictionpress or somewhere in this thread.

  • Anna Banana is a close friend of Tom Strawberry, a protector to a friend that always gets picked on.
  • Said friend stutters and has a slow gait, who secretly mastered Martial Arts as a revenge to beat up bullies.
    • Turns evil at the start of the story, he skipped class to lure the bullies and getting high at beating up those bullies.
    • Anna Banana saw what happened with her two eyes and was shocked at his sudden change of persona, her innocent, cute and lovable friend getting high with power as he asserted dominion over the school grounds with his iron fists.

...A random cliched story, indeed. Aw fuck. This is quite the old thread. D:

Should have been easier to find to boot, but I guess once it slips off the first page it's all but lost to the annals of the search engine.
