Attempted: My Precursors

Yeah im makin uh story....and im trying to create a good race of Aliens who have been around Mankind for centuries, blending in perfectly until, well thats all I got...opinions concerns please

They are highly advanced technological, social, and spiritual beings known as “well they have many names, let’s call them” the Elders. They can communicate telepathically through a bio-organic crystallized organ. This organ materializes in thin-air and is then enclosed in a luminous orb which can levitate/fly around to immeasurable speeds. In this form the beings possess a form of Omnipresence, in which they are able to see in every-direction and phasing Ability to phase through solid matter without harm or delay. Their technology is highly advanced even compared to humans in the 27th century (though it is still 2075). They can appear human at will, and have many superhuman abilities. They are indeed much older and wiser than Mankind as a race and of course as their intellect. Their minds consist of a series of heart drives used to manipulate their own Consciousness/ Recollections/ Identities, which they use to share or trade information with their own species. Their original forms are quite different from a human’s/humanoid in fact.

Try asking this in World Building — along with specific questions about your Elders. Which aspects of their race do you want to have looked at? So far I can only say "Hmph."
