Huh, that's odd, she's exchanging banter already, as if they were old frienemies. "What brings you around here, my nigh-omnipotent acquaintance?"

"Who was what? World?"

Her voice can be heard, but she cannot be seen anywhere. Teddy looks incredibly uncomfortable.

"Something wrong, Ted?" She takes another chip and dips it in the sauce, munching on it loudly.

But like, not very loudly.

Just slightly above normal volume.

I guess it's the whole alternate timeline thing.

...or maybe World said some rather choice words of her own...

"Nothing too major. World just said a couple of things that shook me, that's all."

World does not speak or appear.

...y'know, the whole thing with her not appearing...what, she thinks she can replace the intercom 'r somethin'? I mean, it is kinda weird having a disembodied voice 'n all...

[listening intently to Teddy to see if she says anything]

"A few philosophical questions, mainly."

Shrugs, and goes back to eating her last taco. Joanna (and only Joanna) will suddenly be able to see World standing on the opposite side of the room.

"Ok......" Deciding Teddy will talk about it when she feels like it, bEa goes back to silently eating her nanchos.

Oh, hey, World.

[waves at nothing (that's what they all think!)]

World inclines her head at Joanna but remains silent.

"Yeah, honestly you'd have expected something like that in some fantasy novel, with the cryptic hints and all. Still manages to get to you, though."

As she says this, bEa (and nobody else) should hear World's voice, "She is perceptive, is she not, Surt?"

bEa glares in the general direction Joanna waved at.

"He's not in here. You're barking up the wrong tree.

Oh, yes, being cryptic for cryptic's sake. How I loathe it, 'specially when real life starts gettin' in on the action.

She seems to have forgotten the others are there. As well, it is probably apparent to World that she's lying through her teeth.

*Someone shouts from a few rooms away.*

"WILL Y'ALL SHUT THE ACTUAL FUCK UP IN THERE? I'M TRYING TO WATCH ANIME!"

Teddy is, by this point, trying to make herself scarce in a far corner of the kitchen.

Joanna's World gives her a confused look, while another World seems to appear to and in front of bEa (and, again, only bEa) with a small smile on her face.
