I got all four Spirits. The hardest one was Peach & Stella, mostly because of that obnoxious Virtua Fighter assist trophy. It took me six tries (which also means I had to use a rematch voucher in the Spirit Board) to finally get the Spirit (and I made sure to cut the barrier and slow it down! >_<)
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300I managed to get it first try with Ganondorf powered up with a Demon Style Akuma. Got lucky with Peach blundering into a Warlock Punch, getting her out of the equation very quickly. Even so, that assist trophy nearly got me before I managed to swat the gnat that is a super tiny Kirby.
I missed the part where that's my problem.I do want to use Akuma spirit but man the lack of support slots kinda make me avoid picking it.
Unless the battle has majorly detrimental conditions that you basically have to counter, it doesn't really matter. Though there are certainly completely busted supports for that scenario too, like Golden Mario.
I missed the part where that's my problem. That Peach & Stella spirit kept absolutely destroying me until I tried it with Link, a bit of up tilt spam send that annoying tiny Kirby flying shockingly fast.
Was nice to get some incentive to play again from these events, but I guess this truly is the end now.
I think the fact I main Terry bit me in the ass on that specific fight.
I'm not carried by auto turnaround. What are you talking about?

Help me. I can't get it out of my head.I got it with Donkey Kong, an enhanced lvl. 99 Rodin spirit, Fox Luigi for easier dodging and (iirc) Meloetta for autoheal. Got it on my first try with minimal effort.
With that, I now have every single spirit in Smash Ultimate. All but three or four are lvl. 99, too. Feels good, man. As a victory lap, I managed to 9.9 Palutena and Richter's Classic routes.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?I eventually used Ganondorf, an Autopicked Legendary Spirit, and Regigigas's Slow Super Armor Support. I absolutely wrecked them after that. I'm glad this is the only time I'll ever use this strat.
It's been 3000 years…Alright, that's that for the spirits. Peach & Stella was of course pretty annoying, but I got them on my 3rd go with ZSS + Black Knight + Ashley (the one with the faster Smash Meter charge).
Self-serious autistic metalhead who goes by any pronouns. (avvie template source)It's weird that these spirit levels are in reverse order of spirit number.
-Witty line-9.9'd Mega Man a few hours ago. It felt especially good, since he's a top-three favorite of mine. I'm pretty sure I've 9.9'd more than half the roster now. I may list them sometime.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?SSBU has officially ended.
Time to pester Sakurai and HAL Laboratories for Smash 6.
HAL hasn't been involved in Smash since Melee. ;-)

135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300I mentioned this in my last post before the spirit order was confirmed, but missed opportunity to not have Elephant Mario be the final one by number so that the overall spirit list Bookends on a form of Mario. It's a very small thing, but it seemed like an obvious way to end the list when the last event was revealed.
(I just wanted the very last spirit to be "special" in some way or another. Talking Flower/Wonder Flower is kind of a weird note to end it on.)
Where does Sakurai work then?
It would've been better to end on another franchise. I wanted Fire Emblem Engage mostly for Jean, Jade, and Rosado.
I disagree, Mario makes sense as a finale since it's emblematic of Nintendo as a whole which Smash in large part is a celebration of. Of course, more franchises before the finale would always have been nice, but they only have so much to devote to these small events.
SoundCloudMario being Nintendo's mascot franchise already gave it more spirits and overall content other than Pokemon, even without DLC. There was no need to boost it further.
I take it that in the “Galeem wins” ending, Kirby wasn’t able to get his Warp Star and make his escape again this time?
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned. From a marketing standpoint, that's irrelevant.
SoundCloudEnding the event on Fire Emblem would have just caused more headaches for its fans and loud frustration in the Smash community again. If it got a spirit, it would have been (comparably) better received in the 2nd or 3rd spirit event.
-Witty line-NGL, back when I used to record reactions (just my voice while recording the video off my phone, my 3DS in this case), for the reveal trailer of Lucina and Robin I actually expressed disappointment in another Fire Emblem rep. (Then got excited for Captain Falcon)
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.Sakurai and his wife are the only employees of Sora Inc. They then get additional manpower from other companies.
I didn't say I wanted Fire Emblem to close things out, just that I wanted Engage to get some representation. But really, why would ending on two Mario games not cause backlash?
Probably that compared to FE, the Mario series isn't as heated in terms of the reception in Smash?
Just my guess.

They certainly picked a good Legendary Spirit to end on, holy shit. I can see why they've never done tiny Legendaries before.
