Guess what's immune to Golden Hammers in this game?◊
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Two days in, and still nobody has uploaded new music...
A good writer puts in a lot of details in there story. But a great one gets a story from a single detail.I do believe the "Clear every mission on 9.0 Intensity!" challenge in KIU was also immune to that game's equivalent of Golden Hammers so I'm not surprised.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Unless you want to name anything missing, it was all already ripped at least a week ago.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyNote regarding Marth and Lucina and why Lucina must sweetspot the spike on her dair:
The spike occurs when the sword is directly beneath Marth and Lucina. At that point, Marth and Lucina's entire body acts as a hitbox for the spike sweetspot. In other words, the spike hitbox is not connected to their swords at all and is not a true tipper, but is rather a timed sweetspot like some other meteor smashes. This is also the case for Marth in Melee and Brawl.
Despite not being a true tipper, Marth's spike hitbox gets all the benefits of being a tipped attack, meaning that his spike is more powerful than Lucina's. The rest of his attack that isn't the meteor smash get the usual tipper hitbox at the end of his blade.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!So which one is better in the grand scheme of things: Marth or Lucina?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Marth is probably a bit better, but Lucina does have a small niche in being better able to handle close fights than Marth since she doesn't need to keep a moderate distance to get meaningful launch or power from her attacks.
I sure said that!Lucina is outclassed by Marth in every way as anything she can do, Marth can also do and he has the advantage of getting attacks that are safe on block, but she is much more better than Roy at the very least.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!@Folt Well at least people won't have to worry about wasting their hammers on easier challenges.
So Gametrailers, while overall enjoying the game, feel the lack of an Adventure mode and online issues hold the game back.
What say you? Are those issues much of a problem for you?
Yeah. I pretty much agree.
The online isn't as bad as Brawl's was, but it's still got noticeable issues with lag, and the chat stinks.
And yeah, most of the the various modes are all pretty much the same thing with different bells and whistles, and thus don't really shine as alternate modes of play. If I get, say, tired of repeating Classic mode - which is essentially Arcade mode for any other game - your choices are to play a slightly different Classic mode (All Star Mode), or do individual fights with are basically the Classic mode fights with random rules (Master/Crazy Orders, Smash Tour). Which makes me wonder what the point is to having all of these modes in the game in the first pace - Smash Tour, especially, strikes me as rather redundant.
Coming from an huge fighting game lover: fighters often come down to the same things with every game, and the fact that they're quick doesn't help matters. That's why the focus falls onto learning to perfect combos, master characters, etc after you learn to best the computer. And I don't know what it is, but I could play Ko FXIII by myself for hours, but with Smash 4 (unlike Brawl) I opt to switch after a few runs through Classic mode, and I think it's because ultimately, as a fighter/party fusion, for a game like Smash you need a crowd of people.
Most fighting games with a story mode thus chance on a pretty good idea (Namco is known for it, funnily enough) - Subspace is basically just the main mode reimagined as a Kirby game platformer, but running through a structured story still feels different from assembling a bunch of battles, and gives the game a little more longevity when you don't have other people around to play with. Brawl was awesome because it fulfilled my fighting game fix, by story mode fix, my platformer fix, and my explorational/collector game fix all in one. This kind of feels like a step back.
However, the phrasing "holds the game back" is a good one: the lack of those things don't make the game bad (far from it) but they do keep it from being as good as it could be. Still, I hope they listen to that idea that's been going around about making an Adventure mode DLC.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Did 1.0.4 on the 3DS version fix the lifetime ban bug? Cause this battle is taking forever to load and I'm debating just turning the game off and back on.
Just suicide if the battle is taking too long.
I'm the guy who knows how to make games but doesn't. 3DS FC: 2878-9776-7579Oi, I'm having fun with everything, and I haven't even started Smash Tour yet.
I like the challenges too. Seems like more of them are "Beat X mode with Y character", which is fine, so long as it's doable.
I don't even need downloadable content, even Mewtwo...
Want him though, I do.
You don't understand. It hasn't even finished loading yet.
Oh, wow. Not much you can do about that then... I'm not sure if the glitch has been fixed...
I'm the guy who knows how to make games but doesn't. 3DS FC: 2878-9776-7579Haven't gotten the glitch, so I can't really help you.
Hey, at least the game isn't as bug filled as nearly every single other triple-A game released this year. XD
Onto another note. I must say, I'm surprised that most people on Game FA Qs and the like claim that Lucina is one of the worst characters, since I am finding her to be one of my best ones. Is it a matter of tiers?
Sometimes I hate this game. GW has managed to score so many kills on me in Classic it's not even funny. In one match, he scored two 9s in a row with Judge. In another match, he managed to get his Final Smash when I was down to my last stock and high percent, and I just immediately suicided. In a third match, he scored yet another 9 that K Od me and an ally during a team match.
Also, is it me or is the AI in Classic really inconsistent? Sometimes I can breeze through with relative ease, and other times I have to fight like there's no tomorrow. I play on 7.5 all the time, and the AI just seems all over the place.
The main consistent thing I've noticed about the AI in the game is that they are masters at poking (which was something they stank at last time), and so will seem to be exponentially harder when there's more of them, even if its a free for all.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Should go ahead and point this out, and if it's already been pointed out ignore this.
You do not need to beat Classic on 5.5 with Marth to get Lucina. Did it with Peach, was expecting Falco, but got Lucina instead.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Its not the only way...it was never the only way.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Weird. Yeah, the Guide is less than perfect, although to be fair, I think the damage characters do is based upon the first version of the Wii U(as in 1.00).
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.
