Touhou is a game about flying lolis shooting lasers from their faces after all.

Their faces, you say? The scale of the character sprites makes it hard to tell, but I can't say I remember that boss.

well Reisen certainly does (she can do that as an attack in the fighting games (well, not sure if 10.5, but she definitely can by 12.3. 7.5 doesn't matter since she didn't appear until 8.)

A very real possibility. She can match Yamame's mobility and infiltration abilities through her manipulation of bukkits, allowing her to tame walruses teleport from one bucket-like object to the next in the blink of an eye!

Also she can create demon fire I guess

Another option would actually be a completely new character. I posited some time ago that one of the few ways one could probably enter a male OC into the business would be to make him a completely absurd sidekick to the marginally less absurd Spider Girl.
